Assuming that they accept all your docs, it takes about 2 weeks from the time of NVC submission until they complete your case.

We are the poster children for chain migration!

It takes about a month atmost to get your case submitted and accepted at the NVC stage and then another month to get an interview scheduled.

If they filed their 2017 federal returns, transcripts are easy to obtain online. Register, provide a US phone number, and poof.. transcripts available online to download.

10/18/2017.......... I-751 package received VSC

10/19/2017.......... I-797 NOA date

10/30/2017.......... Notice received in mail

10/30/2017.......... Check cashed

11/02/2017.......... Conditional GC expired

My dad tried it online and tried calling the IRS but they said they dont have a record of it. :--( but he is sure that they filed it... I'm worried that I might get denied because of this

Did he file the return himself or used an accountant or something? Did he get a refund or pay any taxes due?
