The only thing that should keep you from roaring in laughter as Nancy Pelosi freaks out trying to keep a lid on the freak show that is the Democratic caucus is the knowledge that the freshmen freakettes giving her fits would impose an ideology of tyranny and murder if given the chance. But you can still allow yourself a good giggle as you watch Nancy’s dreams of a Democrat majority die on the altar of anti-Semitism, taking away your health insurance, and banning cheeseburgers.

Considering the Democrat Party is now the party of the extreme Left, socialism, anti-Semitism, etc., I would say Nancy is losing control.  I see that the veiled rebuke of Omar was met with her attacking President Obama over the weekend.  I guess three new reps in the House are defining the party for the future, and there are shades that it, the House, is starting to look like the UN.

I doesn't make sense to me where the democratic party is headed.  Bernie is close to the top in the polls as the next Presidential candidate for the democrats, I read the democrats made him sign a pledge to represent the democrats and their values if he gets elected.  AOC is a Sanders supporter and used to work for him and at the moment she appears to be the new face of the democratic party in the future.

 

Do the democrats split up and become two parties? One that is Socialist and one that is like the old democratic party?

And to be honest didnt they ask the same of the tea party movement and the old guard pubs.

That was a fraction, this seem to be a true divide.

 

I like our two party system, it seem to balance out quite well each other.  I am watching the democratic party right now and wondering where are they headed. 

 

I am thinking Joe Biden will announce he is running and then it will be 2 person horse race to win the Democratic Nomination between Biden and Sanders. And I suspect the power to be and behind the scene they will have Biden beat out Sanders.

One alternative is that the moderate Democrats change parties.  I realize that is highly doubtful, but with the GOP moving more to the center, it makes some sense.

The rigged in 2016 for Hillary, from the Super Delegate to Donna Brazile giving Hilary the debate questions before the debates.

I know, I was being a bit sarcastic.  What is interesting is that at least the sampling of Democrats/Left leaning voters here in VJ (past and present) don't seem to really care that the Democrat primary was rigged in 2016.  I guess it may have something to do with the folks running the DNC being smarter to choose the correct person to run.

This is the beginning of the Democrat Party civil war.  I see a bloody battle coming, then a split.  Schultz will take a significant portion of them with him while the rest of them battle......this will be fun to watch.

I think they will get their act together but I doubt whatever compromise candidate they can agree to will beat Trump, they will send their Romney to this election, forgetable and a sacrificial lamb

It makes perfect sense, actually.  If you look back in history and see how the democratic party has shifted their values, they are all over the place.  Look at how they changed their stance on slavery to where they are today (a good shift, don't get me wrong).  But not all their changes have been for the better.

I like Schultz, if I wasn't in bed with Trump I would be tempted to support him.
