Passport Change after Scheduling a KI Interview

my  beneficiary applied for the interview however his passport is currently valid for only 9 months, he has  applied for a new passport and should receive soon i wanted to get in a date before my NOA expired . How can he update his passport information with the new passport once received before he attends the interview?

Will he get the passport before the interview.? If so he can go and make changes to his ds160 form and print it out and take it with him to the interview. If its after the interview if they approve him he won't have to worry about a new passport.

Yes he will get a new passport before his interview, however, i just wasnt sure if it will be able to make any changes to the visa appointment scheduler since it locks in the passport number and changes cannot be made

Ohh ok. I think u should be able to but if not just take both passports to the interview and explain you received a new passport.
