Urgent Help Regarding Green Card Expiration!!!

Hi there, I Need Urgent help my mom green card going to expire in June 04 2019 so i want to know if she planned to travel in April is it gonna be problem for her? She already submitted her green card renewal application but it would take 10 to 12 months to get back to her. please help

Ahh i see if she come back in end of april and her green card expiring in june 4 so it's still fine right?

so there should be no issue like in passport i remember there is validity it should be good for 6 months from expiration date then you are fine

The ASC(Application Support Center) can put a sticker on nearly expired GC and can extend it another 6 months. If you think that will give you a peace of mind, when  your mom fingerprint was taken at ASC, ask them about that.

My Mom Has a appointment on March 21 for fingerprints. so she can go there and ask them about the extending the green card right and is there any fees? thank you so much for the info.

There is no fees. Usually, they will do that if GC nearly expire(2-3 months out).

No fee it's free. If they can't help then call USCIS at 800-375-5283 and request an office visit for document services. She should take her green card, her foreign passport, and her I-90 renewal receipt notice. Either they'll put an extension sticker on the back of the green card; or

an I-551 stamp in her foreign passport.
