Previously issued SSN still valid?

I have studied in the U.S. in the past, and also stayed for my OPT. I was issued a SSN at that time and still have the card. Since then, I have moved back to Europe and I am now about to start the K1 process with my American partner. I am just curious to know if my old SSN is valid still, or will I have to apply for a new one when I get to the U.S?

Your SSN will be the same!

It’s still valid. You only get one SSN in your lifetime.

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

 

Now a US citizen!
