Claimed to have lost his grip and it was the most convienant place to put it

Jackie (F)

I shouldn't talk. We have a hole in our wall from where Wadi decided it would be a good idea to test if our plunger was working correctly. Of course, I just stood there and watched him do it. LOL

LOL! Wow! People must really take me seriously. Peezy-- well I never once said Arab women were greedy. I do recall that thread, although I did not participate in it AT ALL. FYI though, since you brought it up, I don't think Arab women are greedy. I think different people want different things in a spouse and they find it-- in their own ethnicity/culture or out. Period. Is it a generalization? Yes, although I can surely say I will never let that particular man back into my house to house-sit. I offered him free rent/bills/etc and he just took advantage of it. This on reccomendation that he is "Jordanian" and it will be fine. Well, it won't be, and next time I'm picking on MY hunches about personality which have absolutely nothing to do with nationality, race, ethnicity, religion, etc. It's "are you a jackass?" Yes or no.

Are you sure you're not picking a fight Noura? Because it was just a joke. Maybe jokes are not allowed? Must I be proper at all times? I guess so.

Jackie-- I'd have to count. It seems that this thread has taken a turn for the worse, so perhaps I'll just retreat back to whatever it is I do, which is actually unknown to the whole of humanity besides family and some friends.

Moody-- that's great! I'm glad he's doing well for you. Ammar has a microwave so I know he's not going to make that mistake, although i already went over the whole "no floor drains" thing after watching him slosh about a gallon of water on our apartment floor.

Well Doodle, it seems like this thread really has no place, so sorry :)

Nice stories girls!

We still haven't mastered the using a cup as a bidet thing. The toilet seat is almost always wet (from water). We plan on buying one of those hand held bidets soon. Mo isn't ambitious enough to cook on his own, except for tea and warming things up in the micro. He changed the sheets and put the top sheet on sideways, bless his heart. He calls me everyday at lunch time to let me know what he's eating for the day. Today it was turkey and swiss croissant sandwiches. The grossest concoction he's made so far was wheat toast with peanut butter, turkey and American cheese. The man has a steel stomach! I wish I had funnier stories to tell but I don't :(

Did he actually like it??? I'm trying to imagine the taste and I just can't do it!

Allah tries his chosen people through many hardships, but those who persevere through adversity, surrendering themselves before the will of Allah, shall be blessed with a superb reward.

-The Prophet Muhammad (SAW), as reported by Anas bin Malik

A time will come when the sky is torn apart; when the stars scatter, and the ocean drains away; and when the graves are tossed about, and laid open. At that time every man will be told what he has done, and what he has failed to do; and every woman will be told what she has done, and what she has failed to do.
