Quick question on AP

Hey all, quick question here.

I am filling out my AP to go back to Canada to visit family whenever over the next 2 years, but we may take a vacation to Mexico next year.

Do I need to add Mexico somewhere in my application?? Or, is AP just for anywhere??

Does it specify the country on the AP??

I have filled it out only to reflect Canada, but Mexico is just a maybe and I want to cover my bases.

Should I be putting Mexico anywhere on the application?? Or can I just use my AP when I get it and go to Mexico?

I would add it to the AP application, besides it does ask on part 4 of the application---"Purpose of your trip" and "List the countries you intend to visit"

We listed 3 countries, Turkey, Puerto Rico and Germany for reasons being to visit my husband's elderly mother, visiting my parents to visiting his brother. But even if your intend is to go on a vacation or honeymoon I would still add Mexico so not to have any problems later.

Mina thank you for the response, however in part 3 it states

"If you are applying for an Advance Parole Document, skip to Part 7."

So, you don't answer parts 4-6. In fact you would only answer questions 1-3 of Part 3 and then go to part 7.

Actually we did skip parts 5 and 6.

On part 4 we only explained our reasons for traveling and for part 7 for question 1 we checked off "more then one trip". Hope this helps

Thanks, we'll see how it goes. I updated my letter of explanation to include Mexico.

AP is used to parole an applicant for adjustment of status back into the US. It doesn't matter where you traveled or for what reason. The purpose of the document is to be allowed entry back into the US.
