Tough justice for Asbos at York museum

May as well just send them of to Disney for their annual holiday!!

There were some young offenders sent to DisneylandParis (or a similar place) a few years ago. HUGE public outcry of course and quite rightly so.

When are these do gooders going to realise that the people who receive Asbos couldnt give a monkeys about whats in the museum or how people got treated years ago.

It's not like the York city center isn't already filled with spotty oiks with their tracky bottoms tucked into their socks; you certainly don't have to do anything to attract them. :lol: :lol:

It is many years since I was in York, back then it was a beautiful place. I guess the riff raff move in everywhere and spoil what were nice places to visit.

The city is beautiful, but there are spotty oiks in every city/town/village/hamlet in England!

Unfortunately, this seems commonplace in many British towns nowadays. Kids have nothing to do so they hang around in groups, basically making a nuisance of themselves. It's a shame because many of these towns are gorgeous towns, they're just being ruined because of a few bad eggs (or maybe even a few dozen bad eggs).

To be fair to York, there are concentrations of neds instead of an even distribution throughout the city. You're most likely to encounter the sock/tracky bottom combo at McDonald's (thankfully there is only one in the city center), Burger King, the pound shop, HMV, Virgin, any of those shops selling video games, any of those shops selling those tracksuits and prison-white trainers, and any offie or newsagent that doesn't check ID.

Y'know how when you can just walk through a cloud of gnats and as long as you close your eyes and mouth, you're OK? It's sort of like that in York, but with chavs.

Yeah, there were areas of that where I lived in London. There were some lovely, quiet areas...tempered with some areas full of the requisite chavs.
