Hello guys,

I'm in K1 visa processing in step tranfer to NVC, they state if they've been accepted my document from USCIS on March 4th 2019 and during that time there's special agent from diplomatic security visit my fiance's friend.

Is that normal for special agent visit during K1 visa  processing?

Thank you 😊

Not normal

Not normal but definitely possible. Would be interested in what the visit was about.

Update us if possible.

Not typical, but also not unheard of. It could be random. it could be because they suspect something. Nobody knows when they do it or what triggers an investigation.

financee's friend?   USC?

why not the person involved?

Did the person show ID ?

i would say can happen but it would be Homeland Security not as you say diplomatic security

if a person can  not show proper ID  never answer questions

Why the friend? Isn’t that type of thing (talking to friends and neighbors) usually to try confirm if the relationship is genuine? So strange that it would be diplomatic security?
