How did you find out? Mail or website? 😭 i hope ours will he next

Email and checked case status. Didn't get a text message though. This was filed at California service center (despite being upgraded from LPR to citizen), date 3/15/2019. They asked for evidence (passport photo) on 9/3, and aproved 10/11.

Did anyone call and receive a different answer?

Did you call them and what did they tell you? I see we have similar NOA1 dates, our PD is March 21st (Texas SC) and still no news. I am starting to worry as most March filers received approvals.

There are even April filers who have already been approved. 😢 no approvals lately for like a week from March filers.

They were like no actions needed from my end. I don't even know what else to ask to get more info.

Hello VisaJourney members,

I was hoping to get some answers from those that might find themselves in the same situation. My case (CR1) was approved by USCIS on 8/28/19 with an IOE number. I started calling after two weeks of having received this letter and NVC still has not received my case. We are approaching the 2 months since our approval from USCIS and yet NVC continues to say that they have not received it and to continue to give them time as they refine the process of these new electronic petitions. Any of you with an IOE receipt number experiencing the same thing? I'd like to know how long it will take for NVC to receive my case. I am getting a little worried and don't know if calling USCIS will help. Could anyone out there advice me on what to do? Any advice will GREATLY be appreciated!

Hi @JudithnFranki19

I was the first petition to get approved here.
I filed on 28/03 and USCIS approved on 20/06.

I was so excited thinking I might be able to move to the US before Christmas but boy was I wrong.  We never got any letter saying Our case was sent to NVC. All we got was the confirmation it was approved by USCIS and that it will take longer than 30 days to get to NVC as I was a part of the pilot process of IOE petitions. After waiting for 12 weeks without any communications. We started calling both NVC and USCIS as well as online queries. After maybe 100 something phone calls, and raised a service request with 2nd their officer( you need to ask for this as only 2nd theirs will be able to open service request for you), we found that USCIS never sent the petition. It got stuck somewhere in the mail room. Their reason was that usually they try to fill up the whole box before they send away. Sometimes Latter approved petitions Are in the same box with older approved period etc.

We just got the letter confirming USCIS sending our petition last week. So we will start calling NVC next week to bug them until they give us a case number and then go from there.

I suggest to start making noise with USCIS.

goodluck!

Thank you so much for the information @Mr&Mrs Marshie. I will try calling USCIS and see if I am able to speak to an officer. This  was my concern all along and even though I've called weekly and have sent many emails out to NVC. I now understand that the issue is with USCIS. I remember having called them about a month from when I received my approval letter, but all they said was that they didn't have any way of knowing when my application was sent out. But according to what you are saying they should be able to provide me this information and I should even receive notification of this. But that is only when speaking to a thier 2 officer?

Again, thank you so much for your time and the helpful information. We'll see what they say tomorrow.

Hi @JudithnFranki19

My apologies. I was typing in a hurry so made a typo. It’s 2nd tier* officer. Kinda like a senior officer. They can open service requests and follow up for you.

No worries @Mr&Mrs Marshie I understood. Once I call tomorrow I will follow up to share with you what they said. I wonder if we can try and ask for NVC to expedite our cases since USCIS was at fault.
