What does your status say on USCIS website once you have received NOA2? Does it update before you even get the letter?

Sometimes it updates. Sometimes it doesn't. Unfortunately it sucks. Getting mail is the only reliably way to know anything.

I’m wondering the same thing, does she find out online status or by mail.. ?☺️

In my experience it did update, or at least the date but not the message. What I would recommend is that you go under the tab that says documents, and see if you see your approval letter. I did it this way because the message never updated, but yet they had updated the documents they had mailed out to me. Once you see the approval letter uploaded under the "documents" tab, you should expect to receive it just a few days after. At least this was my experience.

I just got my notification for approval on the website and case tracker! PD MARCH 29,2019. Thank you God!!! So grateful! Next step NVC

I checked on mine today using the website. Got approved 9/9. PD March 6

Do you guys know if the IR5 processing time is different from

K1 visa? I feel

Wow, Congratulations! My PD is March 28, 2019. Hope we get ours soon too. Good news for this group here!
