Wow! This is wonderful news! Congrats!!!

I’m also at the Texas Service center and have a receipt number that starts with IOE. I checked as soon as I saw your post, but sadly it still says that my case is in process and is still under review. Who knows though, maybe like @bird&bear said the IOE will help the process go by faster!

Thanks @JudithnFranki19 and @bird&bear!!

I got approved fast at USCIS but i think the wait will be at NVC. It has been 2 months and i have not heard anything from NVC yet, i dont think they even recieved my case as usually you get a Welcome letter from NVC.

I have called them twice and they said it will take longer for NVC to recieve the IOE petitions, see below:

Dear Sir/Madam:

Greetings from the Department of State's National Visa Center (NVC). We are contacting you regarding your recently approved immigrant visa petition. Based on your USCIS receipt number, your case benefited from a pilot electronic process for the I-130 petition. USCIS reviewed and approved your petition faster than average cases of this type as we develop the fully electronic transfer of data from USCIS to the Department of State.  We thank you for your patience while we continue to refine our process with these electronic petitions. We wanted to alert you that it will likely take longer than the 30-day timeframe mentioned on USCIS's approval notice to you. Despite this delay, please rest assured that we expect the overall time between filing your petition and completing processing with NVC will be far faster than average for this petition type. When we complete the data entry for your case you will be notified by email or letter.  This will include instructions on how to log into the Consular Electronic Application Center (CEAC) to begin case processing with NVC.

You are welcome to contact us with questions at <https://nvc.state.gov/inquiry>.

Hi there,

Mine is below:

NOA1: 28/06/19 Texas

NOA2: 22/06/19

NVC: Has not received anything from them till date so over 2 months... :(

I called to check twice and they just said my IOE petition benefited from a very quick new process and that NVC will likely take longer than the 30 days mentioned to start processing my case.

I am hoping everything will be done by Christmas. Fingers crossed.

Wait what new process? Lol

This just gets even more stressful! I called biweekly after case was received by them and got case number assigned within three weeks. However When it comed to DQ or CC they are all over the place I've seen people getting  DQ just within days of submitting while others takes months!

Keep me posted :)

The new online filling, which the Receipt number starts with IOE-xxxxxxxx, this is online petition. There is a whole thread on it on Visa Journey, but I dont think you should worry as you have already passed USCIS and NVC stages. Congrats!!!

This is the email I got from NVC. They ahve not sent me anything, no case number, no welcome letter. Should I be worried? :(

I need 7 police checks and some of them takes 2 months to process anyway, so im hoping I get a case number and can upload my documents to NVC by end of September. Then hopefully, very hopefully, interview by November...

Oh wow that is really interesting. I submitted all my original docs to the lockbox and when I first contacted the nvc thats when I learn my case was electronic but at the NVC level not USCIS.

I hope this is true that it will procesa faster under an IOE. Good luck to you. I hope husband and I can be together my Christmas, God willingly.

Hi, i got approved in 86 days! However, the wait starts now I think as NVC have not sent us anything until now 😕

Hi @Mr&Mrs Marshie I just got approved by USCIS on 8/28/19 at the Texas Service Center (I filed on 3/25/19). I only know this because I checked my case status online and I was able to pull up my approval letter. I know it's recent, but I should be getting an actual letter in the mail right? Did you?...Not that that matters much, but now I am also in the same boat as you. I am planning on contacting them by the end of the week and see if they have received anything. Keep me posted on what they tell you and I'll do the same. The wait will soon be over!

They have IOE receipt number which is faster than normal processing time.

Don't bunch up all IOE receipts into one. There was a pilot program that got those to get faster than normal reviews.

IOE pilot was a success and has been implemented system wide. Those that have been getting IOE since July have been placed in the regular queue.

Someone posted screenshots of the manual stating the policy of it.

When people generalize IOE receipts you're giving hope to those that got it now into thinking it's going to be quick. The couple hype each other up and find disappointment when it doesn't happen. Just saying. (Only saying this is because since IOE is the new normal with limited information those that don't know will be seeing these post thinking fast will be normal)

I did not, I’m not sure if it was my IOE receipt number that helped, or the fact that I also sent out the K3 vida packet. I noticed that when that got worked on, my other petition was approved. So it seems. Good luck to you and I’m sorry I’m not mich help.

Oops, my bad. Sorry if that’s ur way of seeing it but that is not my intention at all. Correct me if im wrong but im just interpreting it that way from what i’ve read.

”Based on your USCIS receipt number, your case benefited from a pilot electronic process for the I-130 petition. USCIS reviewed and approved your petition faster than average cases of this type as we develop the fully electronic transfer of data from USCIS to the Department of State.”

I just forgot to say...” i may be wrong” in my response so it did sound 100% accurate. Next time will have to add that so people may not get false hopes.

Was there like a memo for all applicants since July that they were placed in regular queue?

Yes they didn't get the email like that. But you know how USCIS doesn't send emails consistently, but when the system rolled out no one got those emails, but you know how people take it.

They think the pilot is still active because of comments like this. it's not a pilot anymore it's over. The system is active for all new applicants. They are in the regular queue.

USCIS isn't going to say "hey guys you might have heard about a pilot that we had yes those people got lucky they got approved quick, you're out of luck now you're in the regular queue." Some people part of the pilot didn't get the pilot email.

Pilot is over is what I'm saying. IOE is the new normal. It requires a myUSCIS account. It prevents the public from searching the status of receipts. It gives USCIS a new electronic way of passing your application from one step to the next.

Once they scan your application they destroy the paper application and everything you send since it's digitized.

Then they send it to whatever service center they assign it to.

IOE applicants will be able to see the scanned petition and everything they send as a file on their myUSCIS account.

(Commentary: I'm hoping in the future that they get rid of the service center assignment. And the IOE application gets put in the same giant pool. When a adjudicator is ready they pull the next in line from the giant pool. That would make everything fair.

We will see in 4-5 years when I have to watch my wife go through this process for her parents.)
