So awesome!  Congrats, and your service center was Nebraska too.  That gives the rest of us some hope.

Our ROC story so far...
1/3/2022: I-751 sent via USPS Priority Mail; delivered to Phoenix Lockbox 1/5
1/6/2022: CC processed for filing and biometric fees
1/7/2022: Received receipt # via text
1/15/2022:  Received NOA and 24-month extension letter
1/22/2022:  Received biometrics appointment letter
2/8/2022:  Biometrics appointment
10/2/2023:  SURPRISE!  We received the I-751 approval letter and 10-year green card without an interview.

I have news!

Not an approval that I know of but we got an update that my 'name was updated'

We could be expecting an approval any time soon or not, but other threads say the message means they are updating data on their system and it is probably because I have a middle name that was included in my I-130 but middle names are not added to NOA1 and yes my middle name is not shown on NOA1

We did not expedite or do anything, the only thing I can think of is I entered the USA on June 14th and needed an I-94 permit so of course I said I was visiting my husband, I returned to Mexico 4 days later and my hubby flew back with me.

Looks like they don't usually include middle names in NOAs, I wouldn't be worried.

As for my application it makes us think they are somewhat 'working on our case' but I don't know for sure.

I do believe that they work on them at once, only that they give us a date for approval and RFE from the beginning !!!

Interesting. Makes me check mine’s. Good to know they start to update your papers now.

Wait, we have a Nebraska filer who got approved in 3 months? Does no one else find this a bit strange when it's taking people close to a year to get the I-130 approved?

I thought they had that IOE number but they don’t...maybe that k3 worked in their favour 🤷🏽‍♀️

Hi !

There is nothing strange in what happened. We only decided not to listen people explaining K3 path is useless et went for it!

Our case got approved in 85 days in Nebraska center. We filed I129F on top of I130 as explained in our posts and on our timeline.

We weren't the first case who used this path - it worked for others too.

Only difference, in order to avoid this kind of comments, people don't openely talk about it.

I wish you a good luck in your journey.

Oh, I see. I don't follow the thread as closely so I wasn't aware of this loophole. So has nothing changed and you just skip the line and go straight to NVC processing or is there a different path that's created now?
