So, the interview got over on 21st, then we submitted additional documents to the drop box location in Mumbai on February 25th, as per the requirements by the Immigration Officer.I think the documents were submitted to the US Consulate on the 26th. The CEAC status was in READY. then from 4th it said "APPLICATION RECEIVED" and now it is showing as "ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING".

When we send for Passport Status it was an automated reply stating "The passport has been delivered to the Post". Now, we send an email we get "There is no status update available for the passport number submitted".

Anyone has been through this? I am just so tired as I never slept for almost 2 weeks staying up in the night and talking to my fiance to see what is going on. Also, our wedding was scheduled for 11th, and it all is screwed up now. We cannot have our wedding.

It's always advised that you do not schedule a y plans that cannot be canceled for exactly this reason.

Instead of tracking the passport, the Visa status should update to "Issued" when it is issued. This is often a much more reliable indicator of what is going on than tracking passport number.

If you will be re-booking tickets I would suggest that you do not book anything until visa is in hand. When my husband's changed you issued (not in India but just saying) he was still not allowed to pick it up for almost 10 days after.

Nope, until she gets her visa stamped on her passport. I am not planning to book her ticket at all. I am done loosing money. Almost 3 grand lost with the wedding planning. We had it in Hawaii which was scheduled for March 11th.

Why schedule a wedding in Hawaii for March 11 when Mumbai interview was on Feb 21st?  It's romantic and all, but 3 weeks is a very short time to go from interview to a wedding half way across the world.  A billion things could go haywire, unfortunately as you're finding out.

It's always advised never to make nonrefundable / concrete plans until the correct error-free visa is on the passport.

Yes, same except for Work Address. I just gave my W2, I040 including this years tax filing as I filed Jan end so I was able to send it. Then Tickets, Boarding Pass,  Our marriage plan, as we already scheduled our marriage in Hawaii NEXT MONDAY, but it has to be cancelled as we were flying out this Friday. Then I provided the wedding plan, guest list etc... I told them that my guests are going to be here in mainland who are going to come for my reception. Then, i gave them my bank statements, pay stubs, and many more docs. My savings etc...
