i was reading about your case and I’m glad all was resolved. Need help and some reassurance that my husbands case will be alright. 
My husband recently had a case on March 25,2021 and after the interview the oficial gave him a yellow 221(g) form highlighted with sending additional documents. We sent them the very same day and when we checked the status of his case on April 6th it said refused. We are still waiting for a response and I’m really worried.

Oh gosh, I’m wondering why it says refused? Although my husbands case was 2 years ago and I know nothing about the current situation with COVID, I’m wishing you and your husband luck. I wish I could offer you more help or reassurance. This situation is so difficult, especially because we face the unknown. I do know, if a consular officer finds you’re not eligible and the visa application is refused you will be provided a reason for denial. Normally though, a yellow document means you’ve been temporarily denied and they are seeking more documents. May I ask 
what documents were being requested?

They highlighted the section that said he needed to provide a certain police récord called “ministerio Público” his record is clean which gives us that satisfaction. Our lawyer isn’t much either. She recommends we wait.

I think the refusal is just the default statement then until they agree to issue the visa. I’m hoping it’s just a temporary refusal- if he has a clean record I’m sure he’s fine! Ours said administration processing but if I look online a lot of people say the refusal is temporary (especially if you’ve received the yellow 221(g)) until they’ve received the documents- keep checking! Hope things get sorted out for you, stay positive 🤍 I know it’s hard!
