Hi Everyone,

I recently received NOID for my AOS application, Becuase my Ex husband brought me here  10 years ago on F1 visa and didn't let me go to school. I am accused of Misrepresentation. My lawyer responded to NOID and we provided evidence proof of my good intention and an argument of why I didn't willfully commit a misrepresentation.

in case if they denied my application, I am very concerned to receive NTA and get deported. I have a son who was born here I have good records, but no family here, even my EX not in the U.S.  and abandoned his son. My only wish  in life is for my son to continue living, growing up in the U.S. until he is an adult and in college and then I  don't care what happens to me afterward,   but for now, his life in  the U.S.  is depending on my immigration status.

I am very stressed and keep thinking about these possible consequences, I can't focus on anything else, unfortunately, my lawyer doesn't have a clear answer for me.

My question for those who might have an idea, what are the chances of getting NTA and to be in removal proceedings for the applicant with approved VAWA and denied I--485?

Thank you

I'd say you wouldn't be a priority for removal but that assumes a normal administration and not the mess we have right now.

Since you have a lawyer and they've attempted to rebut the NOID then you have done all you can do right now.

@Hypnos I agree, I wouldn't be too much concerned if we currently have a normal administration.
