Well our journey is over my wife was sworn in this morning and now I can’t tell any more alien jokes. 🤪

Please update the spreadsheet.

 

The journey was long and tedious because of the wait times. Anyways we are both very happy to have USCIS out of our lives now.

 

Truly patience is what is needed when dealing with our crazy immigration delays so those still intimately involved with USCIS hang in there it will end eventually.

No, as it says under my name, my local office is Chicago. 
It's just the luck of the draw I guess. Some people get approved on the spot, some have to wait a little. Some get their oath letter same day, some are waiting months. 

As said, my interview was 9/25, approved 9/30, so not on the spot. And then I was waiting until 10/23 to get the notice that the oath letter was sent.
Believe me, I would have loved to have everything faster as well, but hey, I'm not complaining, there are people around here with an 'approved' status who have already been waiting for 3 months and still haven't heard anything about their oath.

omg finally i got schedule interview!!!!! im a CA filer and i got the notice oct 30 and by oct 31 got the letter saying my interview it december 4!!!!! can't wait! good luck everyone!😍

Hello, not sure if you got an answer to your question yet and I’m sure he has already had his interview. But that shouldn’t affect him at all. It won’t affect his case negatively.

Had my interview today with the worst lady ever!!  
she is Indian. The first thing she asked me as soon as I got in her office was that “ I need to see everything you and your wife has together since this year. Everything!!!!” And bring them out now!  (Very authoritatively). I almost my pants, not because I didn’t have anything together with her, but because I didn’t take anything that binds us together. On the letter it wasn’t written that I should bring any documents apart from the ones I brought. I told her this and she said “oh did it you apply for N-400 on basis of marriage? I replied yes, she was like ok so do they need to tell you to bring that?? Do they need to tell you everything????

am like, Damn this crazy woman lol. 
She was like, listen to me, I can stop this interview right now because you don’t have all the necessary documents, am like am sorry ma’m. 
so anyways she started with the interview and told me to write something on the iPad of which I did, but when I wanted to write it, I dropped my wallet that was on my hand on her desk and she looked me straight in the eye and said, “listen first of all you don’t leave any of your personal things on my desk, nothing, so I picked it up and tried to reach for my passport too and she said, did I tell you to take that?? Uhn?  I thought to myself “this lady is mentally deranged” and left the passport. So I acted like I was about to cry (fake though) and she saw my face all mellow, then she became soft and started treating me like a child😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. I was like YES MY PLAN WORKED, I even failed one of the question (name two holidays and I said 4th of July instead of Independence Day) and she said “it’s Independence Day and not 4th of July” (in a mellow And caring  tone still) she was like you’re doing good, don’t be scared 😂😂. In my mind am like. “AM NOT SCARED OF YOU WOMAN!!!!!!”  To cut to the chase, I passed the test and she told me I did good and still kept treating me like Son, and She said, you know what, I’ll make sure you get your oath today so you don’t have to wait for it in the mail ok?! 
am like “yes ma’m”. So I sat down and got my oath this same day. 
p.s. this was in the New York City federal plaza earlier this morning

my oath is scheduled to take place on the 4th of December!

We all hate employees like that!they think they’re George Washington’s descendants and they’re rhino they’re doing right having that attitude and Thant’s in a lot of places  thanks god you passed the interview!
