Just so hard to see some people apply way after u and got an interview before u.Cheek hialeah processing time and it moves from 6.5 months to 7 months up to a year.

That also depends of each office. Some will have more time to wait for the next step.

I hope you can receive some news soon.

All the best now!!!!

Woohoo, we are done with the interview.  Thanks Guys!

It took us each around 15-20 mins. The officers were the best you could ever meet. Both of us were kept very relaxed throughout the interview and shared some lighter moments too and were very professional.

We reached about 45 mins earlier and after checking in,  the officers greeted us and took us to their interview rooms. First I was called in and later after I was done with, my better half was called in. Our experiences with the officers were strikingly similar and so I'am collectively putting our experience  together.

After we were put under oath and our officers asked a few basic questions like full name, date of birth, country of birth and address. Then we  were asked about any other recent trips taken outside USA after our last trip to India that was mentioned in the N-400, Employer's name and then it was straight to the English reading and writing tests. The questions were

* Who was the president during Civil War?

* Who lives in the White House?

Written components were

* Abraham Lincoln was the President during the Civil War.

*The President lives in the White House.

The Civic Questions were

* What does the Judicial branch do?

* Who is the Chief Justice of the United States

* What is one power of the federal government?

* What are the 2 major political parties of the United States?

* What is the political party of the President now?

* What is one promise you make when you become a United States citizen?

* Who was the first President?

* Who did the United States fight in World War II? (both of us had this question)

* Name one state that borders Canada?

* What is the capital of the United States?

* When do we celebrate Independence Day

We both got the first 6 questions right and were told that we passed the test. Then the officers went over the  part 12 of the form and finally were asked to check our details on the ipad and sign. They congratulated us that were are being approved and can expect the letters for the oath ceremony soon. We were given the Form N-652 that says Congratulations! Your application has been recommended for approval.

During our time at the office all those who had their interviews today were approved and that was about 8 other people!

That's it folks. Sorry 'bout the long message. Hope this is helpful.

Good Luck everyone and pray all get approved fast.🙏 😊

Just to clear out any doubts or confusion my post would have created. Me and my spouse didn't have our interviews together, but it was scheduled at 1.25 pm and 2.15 pm today. Since our interview experience was similar, I grouped it together and posted it as a single post!

Thanks😊
