Sharing some good news! We had our interview in Kansas City on 10/8, and about a week later our status on the egov website updated to "card has been mailed," and my husband's card arrived the next day! We feel very lucky to have been approved within the 18 month extension letter window. Thinking of all those still waiting. Hoping everyone else gets their approvals asap!

Congratulations!!!!

what service center did you guys have? Also did you have an interview with the adjustment of status?

hopefully I hear something soon...

Sharing some good news! We had a REF for our I-751, from 07/28. We submitted our response on 08/17. It was supposed to hear from them within 60 days. Honestly, we didn't expect it because of COVID, and shortage in staff for CS all over states, and with the current administration for the White house, they want to cut some from USCIS budget. However, we put a service request on 08/16, to inquire about our application. Today, is the big day, we were checking for updates, and found '' New Card Is being Produced''. I just thought to give some positive vibes and motivation for people, who have been hanging there for long time. We are March, 2019 filers. Cali Service Center.

Our service center was WAC. But we'd already been "transferred to NBC for interview scheduling" for a few months with no word, and then we moved from California to Missouri and 2 months after moving got the interview notice. We started with K1 visa and did not have an AOS interview, so we were figuring we'd almost certainly get one for this step. The interview was quite pleasant though--just a little inconvenient to have to travel 3.5 hours each way to the nearest interview center.

3/22/2016- P4 email

5/12/16- Interview. Approved!

5/16/16- After a few days saying administrative processing, CEAC now says issued!

Additional snafu: my fiancé came over on his visa, but just a month later (and the day before we were going to get married) he had an emergency that necessitated him returning to China.  I contacted the Guangzhou consulate via their email system, provided the requested documents/proof, and he was granted a second interview for "reissuance."  He had to re-do the medical, redo the interview (bringing yet another copy of all of the things he had to bring the first time) and we were approved again!  He received what looked like a new visa in his passport, but the original 90 day countdown for marriage was still ticking.  He came back to the US and we got married right away!

8/22/16- Married!

no news... case status on website still says "fingerprint fee received..."

4/11/17- submitted online service request for case out of normal processing time (over 6 months)

My I-797 18 months letter expired on the september 21. I tried to get an update from USCIS. I filled an E-request, just told me that is still on time. Does any one had any luck? My case got  transferred (July 16, 2020 Case Was Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction) I am heading to 2 years, I was planning to travel internationally, but i don't think it's gonna happen anytime soon. Because it's hard to get appointments at USCIS for stamp on my passport.

I just received an email stating that my interview for my I-751 has been scheduled and that I will receive a letter in the mail with further information. I call USCIS and asked if this will be a combo interview since I submitted my N-400 application on 8/22/20 and received a letter stating my biometrics will be reused 10/22/20 and the said no.

Does this mean I will need to go for an interview for my I-751 and then another separate interview for my N-400, is this normal?

we are in the same situation. we called, then they said too early, then we called back 30 days out, We called USCIS last time on November 3rd. told to wait for call back for appointment within the next week.

2 year card expired June 3, 2019. So I our 18 month is up Dec. 3rd. In our State, they tied the driver's license expiration to the extension letter date. So we have to get a extension, to get my wife's license renewed or her license expires next month.

We continue to wait for interview. Case was transferred to NBC on August 31st. Bio appointment was completed almost a year ago.

Hi,

I sent a case status service request because my case is outside of normal processing time. Immediately after sending the request I received an email saying "Expect a reply by October 22, 2020" with a case number. As you can imagine, I haven't received any update regarding my inquiry.

Is there a way to check the status of my service request online? I tried to call USCIS but I can't pass the automated voice assistance.

There is a trick.  Call them and press 9 wait it will say u don’t need to press numbers... then press 0... then press 9 or zero again and then it would transfer you to a rep.  Tell them you need an infopass ... to get the stamp on your passport.

People have been having success reaching an agent through the USCIS chat function called EMMA. When we used it we got an agent a lot quicker than we would have over the phone. If you choose to use EMMA, let us know how it went!
