Hi, good evening everyone.

I hope everyone is ok and are enjoying some family times for the holidays.

It seems that many filers from previous month get their ROC approved around 12 months after sending the package to USCIS.

I was reading that some people had to go do fingerprints again while other didnt have to. I personally had to do it May and since then nothing happened just it was updated and the website.

Has anyone been approved or got a RFE?

If yes please share your info, Thank you

Case Is Ready To Be Scheduled For An Interview

As of July 31, 2019, we are ready to schedule your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number WACXXXXXXXX, for an interview. We will schedule your interview and send you a notice. Please follow any instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

This is what I am sseeing since July, I was wondering if calling them creates any difference because I am planning to visit back home in February for 2 months and I wish they sort it out before my departure, otherwise I will be worried during my absence, I am okay with interview too, just wanted to get it done but who knows when they will do something about my case... any suggestion or advice is welcome from senior members

Removal of Conditions

03/08/19  Sent ROC package to Arizona from California

03/11/19  Received by USCIS with Signature

03/15/19  Moneyorders were cashed out

No text or mail from USCIS received yet, Fingers Crossed!

We have been waiting for an interview since May.......I don't think calling them would help...especially if your extension letter is still valid.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Ty for replying. I am just worried because I wanted to go back-home in March for 2 months in April and what if they send me an interview letter during my absence and don't want to miss an interview. Fingers crossed

I am also WAC. My status never even changed after the biometrics. It still just says case received. I also have some upcoming travel plans (though a bit later than you--July-August), so I feel your anxiety with wondering what to do about travel plans if I haven't heard anything by the time it's getting close.

Spoiler

12/18/2015- NOA 1

1/29/2016- NOA 2

2/18/2016- Letter from NVC saying they're forwarding to Guangzhou

3/4/2016- Received P3, returned it about a week later

3/22/2016- P4 email

5/12/16- Interview. Approved!

5/16/16- After a few days saying administrative processing, CEAC now says issued!

Additional snafu: my fiancé came over on his visa, but just a month later (and the day before we were going to get married) he had an emergency that necessitated him returning to China.  I contacted the Guangzhou consulate via their email system, provided the requested documents/proof, and he was granted a second interview for "reissuance."  He had to re-do the medical, redo the interview (bringing yet another copy of all of the things he had to bring the first time) and we were approved again!  He received what looked like a new visa in his passport, but the original 90 day countdown for marriage was still ticking.  He came back to the US and we got married right away!

8/22/16- Married!

AOS

9/30/16- Filed for AOS, EA, AP

12/13/16- EA and AP approved!

no news... case status on website still says "fingerprint fee received..."

4/11/17- submitted online service request for case out of normal processing time (over 6 months)

5/2/17- USCIS website updated to "My card is being produced!"

5/10/17- Green Card received

ROC

3/2/19- Filed ROC

3/8/19- NOA/18mo extension received

5/7/19- Bio appointment

9/2/20- Interview scheduled for next month!
