Thanks. I haven't heard anything yet. Sorry for the late response. Were your papers in MCS (National Benefits)? Also, how did the interview go? Only one person need to attend or both?

Yes we were ate MCS. The interview was super easy.  She didn't even want to see any of the stuff we brought! She just confirmed our names,  birthdays and social security numbers.  She asked how we met,  when we started dating and that was about it. Said we were approved.  Both need to attend interview and it says so on the interview appointment letter.

I apologize to all if my comments did not help with the subject.

We all know its a long process and for some of us its really frustrating not hearing anything from uscis.

Its only common sense to expect others in similar condition to be heart warming and positive. Who knows statistically when a specific case will be done? Thank you all and again sorry If I was agitated by some comments .

Wish you all get through this soon as possible.

Bless ya'lll

Received NOA1: April 6

Biometrics: April 25

Fingerprint Review Completed: April 30

MSC Service Center

Hi all! Just another update:

We had our interview yesterday August 7 (Guam Time/ChST). Just a little background on our case, my husband and I have been together for over 7 years, have one child together, neither of us has ever been divorced and we are still together. The IO first verified all of the information on the I-751 form including SS numbers, date of birth and addresses. The IO mainly asked us about the co-mingling of our finances and our recent change of address. One thing I did notice though is that it seemed that they did a little background check with the bank prior to the interview. I opened a new savings account after we had filed our ROC and she asked me about the money transfers between our joint savings and my new account. Anyway, her questions were mainly to clarify how we handle our finances and if we have access to each other's separate savings account. We were also asked about our recent travels and change of address.

Finally, she asked if we had anything new that we want to add to our case. We only gave her a few family photos from our recent vacation. And that was it!

She didn't confirm if I was approved or not and only said that she needs to do a bit more admin work on my case. But she did advise me of the processing time for getting the new card, etc.

This morning (Aug 8 Guam time), I checked my status and it said "Interview was Cancelled" (very briefly, but had me worried!) and then changed to Case was Approved!

Thank you to everyone else who shared their experiences (reading yours had helped me prepare for my own petition) and good luck to everyone who's still on this journey :)

Congrats! We are also California Service Center (WAC). In our case the biometrics happened very quickly but then no word, no update (the website still just says case received, doesn't acknowledge we already completed the biometrics). I have been looking around for a spreadsheet for California filers to try to see other similar cases but haven't found any. Do you happen to know of any such spreadsheet or thread for WAC filers that my searches are somehow missing?

Thanks, and hope you get word of an interview date soon!

3/22/2016- P4 email

5/12/16- Interview. Approved!

5/16/16- After a few days saying administrative processing, CEAC now says issued!

Additional snafu: my fiancé came over on his visa, but just a month later (and the day before we were going to get married) he had an emergency that necessitated him returning to China.  I contacted the Guangzhou consulate via their email system, provided the requested documents/proof, and he was granted a second interview for "reissuance."  He had to re-do the medical, redo the interview (bringing yet another copy of all of the things he had to bring the first time) and we were approved again!  He received what looked like a new visa in his passport, but the original 90 day countdown for marriage was still ticking.  He came back to the US and we got married right away!

8/22/16- Married!
