Hello March filers,

My wife and I filed for her removal of conditions last Month. We mailed the package to the Texas lockbox (PO Box in Dallas).

USPS Shows that the package was delivered on March 22nd. As of today we have not received anything from USCIS, I sent a cashiers check for the fee, I have called the bank but the check hasn’t been cashed yet.

Based on what I’ve read here, I have to wait 30 days (April 23) before I can contact USCIS. It is better to call or send an email to lockbox support?

Anybody else here in this same situation? What do you guys recommend?

thank you!

I got the NOA1 dated March 6 but no biometric notice yet. Filed in California. I am traveling abroad for 10 days at the end of August, would it be a problem to receive your appointment while away?

You should probably be fine, although we got our biometrics letter with only 10 days notice for the appointment.  It was dated about a week and a half before we received it.

Maybe have a neighbor or friend pick up your mail once or twice.  Easy to reschedule by returning the letter.

Hi, I have the same situation filed the I-751 in Dallas, TX last month and was received March 30th but until now the check hasn't been encashed. I also have not received any updates. I'm worried since it seems like others had already received their NOA or been updated that their application had started the process.

We received our entire packet back in the mail today. USCIS claimed that we were outside of the 90 day window. My wife’s GC expires on 6/22, we mailed the package on 3/20 and they received it on 3/24. (I don’t know how they count the days) We sent the whole thing back in the mail this afternoon. We’re clearly inside the 90 day window now.

It’s so frustrating

Your earliest date, by my calculation, was 3/24.  Did you date the form earlier than 3/24?

I think 3/20  (They day I mailed it) Is that the date the go by? Or the actual received date?

The letter that they sent me with the returned package had a 3/22 received date. But based on the usps tracking number they didn’t received the package until 3/23 which was a Saturday.

Yeah, that’s what I did this afternoon. We literally took the entire package and put it in a new envelope and mailed it priority again.

I’ll keep you guys posted as soon as I get anything back.

Are people actually getting interviews? Just trying to figure out if interviews are common since the the 12/10/18 update to I751.  If so how soon should you be expecting a notice if you need an interview?

A friend of ours just went through this and they applied for and received their citizenship before they scheduled their ROC interview.

I'm assuming it will be the same for us, so start studying civics and English and be ready :)
