Hi everyone, I had my I-751 and N-400 joint interview today. It went great! There was really no additional things asked, just reviewed the applications making sure all info was still accurate. Then proceeded to the civics test and oath. It took less than an hour from start to finish. Best of luck to the rest of you guys!

Congrats! A few questions if you don't mind.

Are you a WAC filer, and did you file in the beginning or the end of March 2019?

I also filed in March 2019, and filed the N400 in April 2020. Thus far no updates (other than the biometrics interview from last year).

Should I be anticipating an interview appointment for both the I-751 and N-400? Thanks!

My I-751 had an SRC case number. I filed towards the end of the month.

They are doing joint interviews for both applications. Many of the people on the May N-400 filers group are getting interviews this month. I am not sure why.. It's so much faster than expected. On the website it estimated May of 2021 for me. I never even received the notice for the interview in the mail. I just got the update online and printed it myself. Within the same week I got an update that my I-751 had a canceled interview (even though I wasn't aware there was ever one scheduled), my biometrics would be reused for the N-400 (I did my I-751 biometrics in November 2019), and the update for the interview appointment. All of these updates were only online, no actual notices in the mail. Not sure if they got lost or if they were never sent, but if you haven't set up your online account to send you notifications via email or text, you should. The interview notice only addressed the N-400, but when I arrived the agent was ready with both files.

Filed February 28 2019. NOA March 5th 2019. Fingerprints sometime in April of 2019. Last update was that fingerprints were applied to case on May 4 2019. Got the “new card being produced” yesterday, September 28 2019 after exactly 19 months! (California Service Center).

No interview (didn’t have one for adjustment of status from K1 either), no RFEs. Just a long wait.

We had been waiting to file citizenship so as not to delay the card so will try to do so ASAP before the fee increase.

March filer here, WAC center, We are scheduling an interview since past 18 months and I have filed N400 already. Today my extension letter expired and struggling to get a stamp on my passport but looks like infoPass appointments are a big deal.

I was told, a month before my extension letter expires, i should call them so they can re-issue extension visa, as for you maybe, you could still call them so that they could send you new extension letter, best wishes

So without confirmed appointment security doest let you in, doesnt matter its Emergency or whatever, they have instructions to let through people with appointments only. I went on my appointment day (28th Sep) a little earlier and they sent me back and asked me to come only 15 minutes earlier. After clearing the security there was another officer was confirming appointments outside the office (2nd floor) and he matched my appointment time and name and then let me go inside the office. Then 3rd checkpoint where my picture was taken and scanned my both hands index fingers and verified my expired Green card and then finally I was in the line for my turn. Officer didnt ask anything, just requested my Valid Passport and GC (which she confiscated after giving me I-551 Stamp on my passport (valid for a year) The whole process barely took less than 5 minutes and even asked about my case status which she checked and asked me to expect a combo interview in coming months. She said system has requested Bio-metrics for N-400 and you are in line for finger scans. The whole Crew at Sacramento USCIS Office was nice and they greeted nicely plus they were helpful throughout the process. I hope it helps :)
