I think I am going to file for Citizenship now. The reason I was not filing was that I was afraid to go to a ASC to do my biometrics (seems like a place where COVID would spread).

But since they are not opening ASCs or doing any biometrics, might as well file and get on line.

ASC offices will open up soon enough, you'll have your appointment just like the rest of us. There's nothing to worry about, I would worry A LOT more just going to the local grocery store.

Just bring some hand sanitizer and clean off your hands afterwards.

I have a friend who filed N400 in early April and still has not had their biometrics. Even if ASCs open up, I assume there's going to be a big backlog.

Yup, we will have to wait for our biometrics letters. The backlog probably won't be that bad at ASC offices though, as they can generally do a ton of people a day and it only takes a couple of minutes per person, unlike the field offices and their interviews.

I would think they will take COVID measures and only allow a few people inside at a time?

Inside, sure. Just like you see stores today having people in long lines outside waiting to get in.

Just got the notice in my email today that my new card is being produced! I filed near the end of March 2019, had biometrics in November 2019, and had no movement on my case at all until just now. I guess I get to skip the interview!. SRC is my service center. I hope everyone else starts to see movements

Congratulations, what a feeling!

Good luck, I believe it could be any day now. What Service Center has been assigned to you? I also filed from California and my Receipt number starts from WAC1990XXXXXXX. Just trying to get an idea if its one particular center which is so slow or it could be any one.

I have a question for everyone......

I notice my I-130 never approved it said case was received since 2016...

is anyone else on the same situation thinking that might be the reason why the I-751 is dragging???
