Anyone know how the pandemic is affecting this? USCIS.gov says that offices are temporarily closed.. but people are still getting updates.

My status finally was updated to “new card is being produced”. I filed on March 3,2019!

Got a text message this morning that there was a case update .. status changed to "Card is Being Produced"   Our case was at LIN (Nebraska).   -David

I just checked the status and guess what, approved!! I filed on March 29 and my service center was LIN. Approved with no interview or RFE.

Effective March 18, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services is suspending in-person services at its field offices, asylum offices and Application Support Centers (ASCs) to help slow the spread of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). This suspension of services will be effective until at least April 1. In the meantime, USCIS will provide limited emergency services. Please call the Contact Center for assistance with emergency services.

Just got notification in the app that my husband’s green card is being produced!! 🎊 WAC seems to be getting some traction. I hope everyone who is still waiting will get an answer soon!

Received email stating they are ready to schedule an interview for my I751.

Is this random or because I did not submit enough evidence? If anyone could offer some guidance on what to expect at the interview or what I should take , I'd really appreciate it. 

I was a K1 applicant originally and got my green card without an interview. SRC filer transferred to Potomac.

Removal of Conditions

02/28/19    - Sent ROC package to Lewisville, TX by UPS. 

03/05/19    - Delivered to Lewisville, TX by UPS. 

03/09/09    - Received text message from USCIS stating original receipt to follow in mail and a receipt number starting with SRC

03/12/19   - $680 bank check was cashed electronically

03/16/19   - Received I-797 NOA dated 03/08/19

11/4/19     - Received Bio-metrics appointment letter - Appointment 11/15/19

11/15/19  - Completed bio-metrics and received USCIS email same day to status was updated to "Fingerprint Review Was Completed"

01/07/20  -Received notification "Case Transferred And New Office Has Jurisdiction"

01/11/20 - Received letter stating my case has been transferred to the Potomac Service Center

3/19/20 - Received email stating they are ready to schedule an interview

11/4/20 - Received email stating my interview has been scheduled and I will get a letter in the mail

12/15/20 - Had interview and status online updated to new card being produced :)

 

N-400 Naturalization Application

8/22/20 - Submitted N-400 electronically

10/22/20 - Letter issued saying they will reuse my Biomettics

01/07/21 - Interview scheduled for 2/1/21

2/1/21 Had Interview, passed & had Oath Ceremony same day :)

Most probably this has to do with the fact that you have not been interviewed by USCIS before @JennaCN.  Feel free to check my most recent posts regarding this.  Your case and dates are similar and close to mine.

Hi!

I am in the same position. Also K1 and no AOS interview and just got the same update yesterday after Potomac transfer to Lee's Summit. So after the December 2018 policy change I was expecting an interview. Unfortunately my marriage didn't last.. and I just had the divorce decree finalized last week. I wasn't sure to stay in the US or not.. but I got a job and decided to give it a go having nothing left back in Sweden either... 

 

I have a question regarding the timing of my divorce decree. Should I just bring the paperwork to the interview once scheduled or should I inform them ahead of time?.. since it's at ready to schedule interview, I'm unsure and read different things.

Received our approval letter today!  Unconditional green card should arrive within 60 days!  So thrllled. Done with this for 10 years!

Same here except my case status never worked properly. We received approval letter today!

Our ROC interview is scheduled for April 14; N-400 app biometrics is scheduled for April 2...fully expect both will be re-scheduled. We'll see...

Generally, you need to inform USCIS if there is any marriage status change and send the final divorce certificate to USCIS as reference.

safe way to do, you can call USCIS to ask

It may be a little bit delay, but is better to just showup the interview and say you r divorce. (I don't think they like surprise)

 

I filed I-751 as divorce waive , I prepared documents myself but I did hire a lawyer in case. (and my lawyer went to the interview with me as well)

 

N-400 Timeline

 

2022/03/01: 90 days filing window open

2022/03/20: Filed N-400 online

2022/03/21: Case received, no biometrics required

2022/03/21: Online status change to Case is being Actively Reviewed by USCIS

2022/08/15: Interview was scheduled
