Ok I’m not concerned about k1, I applied for cr1.... I just didn’t know that you can expedite for that particular reason.

I’ve seen expedited approved just because of the stress of waiting.

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

From what I've seen, nvc expediting is looser than uscis. Give it a shot if you have a reason to try, the worst that happens is the embassy says no and then you continue normal processing!

Ok thank you.

Ok and this would be at NVC stage, nice to know thanks

Yes because I believe it's harder to obtain expedite at USCIS unless it meets one of their few listed criteria on the website. Nvc is more embassy-dependent so they make the decision on the expedite after nvc forwards them the email request.

Dear Sir or Madame,

I am requesting an expedite for my CR-1 visa petitions.  My step son and step daughter (information below) both attend private school in Manila.  Payment of tuition is due in May and must be paid in full to enroll them.  With the timing of these petitions we are afraid that we will need to pay for the full year tuition for both XXXX and XXXX and we do not know how long they will actually need to be enrolled.  We have talked to the school and they will require full payment in May for school that starts in June in Manila.

We are hoping this works out where we can interview before the payment is due as that would allow me to be there at the interview with them.  School in Chicago starts in August so we are also concerned with having them registered and in class on the first day.

Our petitions were approved at USCIS on XX/XX/XXXX.  They were forwarded to NVC on XX/XX/XXXX.

Would I have to do this after case complete or can I do this before, like right after it’s approved by uscis?

You can try for an nvc expedite once you get your noa2 approval. My friend did that and nvc gave her a case number quickly and she already has the visa now.

I’ve heard of them expediting one without the other. That is why I requested all three on the same request. They all get expedited or none do. It worked out for us.

I was told to put my son case # in the subject line an in the body his info an my husbands info then explain to them the financial burden of making two trips to Jamaica for interview. So now they are review the others documents. They told me today they are still review his case even though it says online "ready" before they set an interview date. Hopefully by then they approve the other two for expedite

Is the error message like “case number and invoices number don’t match” ? This happened to a handful of us last month and it took a bit of time to resolve. Hopefully you can log in tomorrow.
