Any case close today?

Nope. But we were soooo close! Today we got an RFE, they accepted all of our documentation except 1; court records. They directed us to a list of acceptable documents, the document we sent was in the list. The email from the court says here is your certified memorandum of conviction but the actual document says memorandum of entry so now I’m stumped. I have emailed the court again to see if perhaps they gave us the wrong document. I’m bummed because now the wait has been extended. I’ve had the record for over a month...had I known it was unacceptable, I would have been working on it.

You don't need US police certificates. Trust me FBI has already done background check on you already during the USCIS background check phase and they already know about your time in the US.

Thank you nastra30

i wanna ask 1 questions will nvc mail us the documents thy require with the case number ?

I believe that it depends on how your case is being processed.  If your case is being processed electronically they will email you the requirements, I believe.  However, if it is being processed through mail, they will then send you the requirements via snail mail aka regular mail. (Postal)

so if that is the case then once you receive your actual case number, and are able to go into the system that is where you find everything that you are required to submit

thank u so much i will update u all once i get my case number hope its soon

Please do, I appreciate it.  This forum is helping me with my patience for my own case number which I have been told can take me as long as May 6th to receive.  I am way to anxious to have to wait that long so I follow everyone else's process to calm me.

My case has been processed electronically, hence I received an email about my interview date, case complete and everything else.

I received mail as well. But much later.

Please note, your interview date depends on your local consulate load.

Hope my timeline will help someone.
