Hi guys,

After about 4 rfp, finally got the last request sorted two weeks ago. Now, we got the usual  mail from nvc saying there's an update, only for us to check, there was nothing different apart from "submitted". We were expecting nothing but a cc. Please what could be up?

By the way, I'm for IR1, got into NVC since August 2018.

Thanks people

And you didn't see any new message within CEAC?

It's not an error. That's the new IRS transcript format.

This is big relief. I was afraid.

Thank you so much. Cheers.

No, I didn't see any message despite a mail saying there was an update. The requested items still show "submitted"

My case was also sent to nvc on the 1st of March and they received it on the 8th of March I'm being told that I wont receive case number until mid April.  I think our cases will be processed around same time

Hi, how did you find out that NVC received you case? Did you call, or received an email, mail?

They should soon if isn’t this week next week

Thank you. Do you know any approx days that NVC is currently taking to give out case numbers? Is it 6-8 weeks after the case is sent to Dept of State or is it 6-8 weeks after they received it?

Oh ok. It could be one of those CEAC crazy shenanigans.
