There is no specific time, usually you wait a week after NOA2 and you call NVC to know if they recieve your petition.

mine was recieved after 5 weeks others took way less than that.

Nvc recently take action on my case that they have deleted my joint sponsor while they were reviewing that documents which I was submitted a month before, i called nvc but they replied that your case is in administration process wait . Is there anyone who faced same problem .

What is the best way to upload files for AOS?

 

• I will be using the i-864ez
• W2s (2018, 2017 & 2016) - Merge all the W2s into one PDF and upload them? or upload them separately?
• Federal Tax Return (the 1040s for 2018, 2017 & 2016) - merge them all into one PDF? or upload them separately?
• Tax Transcripts (2018, 2017 & 2016) - merge them all into one PDF? or upload them separately?
• Evidence of income - last three months of paychecks.
• Proof of US Citizenship 

Civil Documents:

• Passport Size photo (Beneficiary only?)
• Birth Certificate (Beneficiary only?)
• Marriage Certificate
• Marriage Termination Documents
• Passport Biographic Page (Beneficiary only?)
• Police Clearance Certificates

Anything else?

Finally got our case # today! Now to pay the fees and get our ducks in a row.  

 

I know this question has been asked a million times, but for tax transcripts vs. a copy of the returns, what would be best for the Montreal consulate?

Exactly one week after we paid IV fee we were able to submit DS-260 and Civic documents.

After many calls and hearing status of Visa fees change can take up to one week. They are really playing with us. 😒 We lost at least half of the week 😞

Now hoping no RFE.

January 23 is for people who case arrived at NVC, theybthe only getting their case number.

 

Waiting for case to be complete 

 

rose098 submitted the documents on February 22, which mean They have to wait 3 weeks for case complete.

 

 

so that is 2 different thing.

Is not must, you will wait for 3 weeks.  I have not seen any one that waited for 3 weeks except in rare cases. Case differs. Just saying what I have been seeing.

The transcript is a requirement for the I-864.  Too many people were only submitting the 1040 form and not the 1040 tax return which includes all forms, schedules, W2s and 1099s.  They want to see everything you send with your tax return.

I have submitted everything, they have accepted W2 but rejected complete tax return.

 

I am just waiting for IRS website & transcript system to be working as it is saying transcript system having issues, try again later. I tried calling them too.

my friend, i tried.

actually system is not working. I even called for transcript, but machine replied currently system is having issues. try later.

same happened with my brother-in-law. so i'll try again.

Finally showing paid after a week. Now for a transcript question.... I ordered 2017,16,15 transcripts over summer, but they are account transcripts I realized last week. Realized and ordered return transcripts via mail, since I can’t do online transcript request. Is this correct? It’s the return, not account transcripts? Wanted to verify I’m not wasting time waiting for return transcripts.

Submitted AOS financial documents and Civil Documents today. Now is another waiting game until they review them. Progress!!!
