Hello everyone!

had a question regarding tax filing.. we had our wedding in Sep-18, got i130 approved on 6 Feb 19, NVC received our case on 25th Feb.. still waiting for case number. however my husband (US citizen) forgot to get his martial status change/update in his W2 form, he is yet to submit 2018 tax return. I was hoping if any one of you had similar case or could guide us if there is a way we could still update the same? Many thanks in advance.. any help will be highly appreciated :)

Don't worry about what he claims on his check it is not an issue. They want to know he makes enough money not what his filing status is. They know he is married.

When he files his 2018 taxes and you send that to NVC if he wants he can file Married Filing Separate. That way you are listed. You don;t need a SS#, but you only can mail in not Electronic file.

Or he can just keep it simple and file single to get it filed and on it's way. You will have to have 2018 Taxes for NVC and for Interview like I said matters not how you filed. It really doesn't matter.

Good morning all,

what is the website that we can check the status of your green card after the applicant enters the United States.  I know someone gave it back in october or november 2018, but I cant find it.

For those waiting on their interview, I pray you receive it soon.

Hello

I have question

For WhatsApp chat history, history is too long near around 65000 pages so should I print all pages for proof..?

Another question

I choose my mother tongue language that is gujarati for interview so there is any problem...?

I know English as well But still I choose my mother toungu so there is any problem..?

Just like someone else said focus on quality not quantity. They will not have time to go through 65000 pages of messages. Just pick 1 or 2 for each month. Not just lovey- dovey conversations but also where you guys talked about your plans, everyday life, etc.  That's what we did.

As for the interview language, they will provide a translator. Most people even though they understand and speak English well like to have their interview in a language they are comfortable in. You will be completely fine with that. As long as you can converse with your partner in a common language they should be fine.

Thats too much....about 2 to 3 conversations per month should suffice...u just want to show consistency

As long as you and your spouse can communicate in same language speaking whatever isn't a problem. I have seen interviews backfire when people need translator or ask to speak in their language.

Well for interview it's really a bit late worrying about presenting chats. You should have submitted that with your I-130. At interview really doesn't matter how much you bring or how. Just make sure it's easy to get to.
