Bring 2018 taxes to the interview.

They only asked me for 2017 tax transcript/tax return and W2’s, but my interview was before April 15th. Most people won’t have 2018 tax transcripts for an April interview if they file near April 15th though. I think 2017 is fine. Just make sure the persons income qualifies, that’s what really matters. I had my 2018 W2’s but they wouldn’t take them.

Any idea how long to wait until we get the email with our Interview dates? Does NVC schedule it according to CC date or based on the Beneficiary's Embassy?

I think it based on what the embassy has available

Guess it’s dependent on embassy plus I think they accept high volume of applicants monthly at the Guangzhou Embassy since China is a relatively populated country. You should be scheduled next month. They are done scheduling for the month of April.
