Congratulations! And thanks for the update. When you say letter, I assume you mean e-mail?

I mentioned the timeline https://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profile.php?id=308683 because it's really helpful for other people to gauge the length of their progress.

We are still waiting for our appointment email, as are Cari & Andy UB who are just a few days behind us with their CC. Hopefully we'll both be notified next week.

Do you plan to attend the interview with your spouse?

Yes email. :)

Mine was a parent-adult child petition so a little different then most but only applicant is going.

Priority date matters on some other categories like Family based preference not but in Immediate Relative Category.

Since the Category name proves itself that immediate means no waiting time if dates are available.

On some other immigration related site, I found this :

Question : How long NVC takes to schedule interview after case closed?
Answer: Depending upon your consulate, once NVC/consulate receives all required documents, usually NVC/Consulate will schedule an interview within 60 to 90 days, if the priority date is current.

For all Immediate Relative Category files, Priority date is always current.

Since Mumbai Embassy is busiest & most money making embassy of US, it will take time to assign interview dates to all IR petition. The second reason is from 2018, Delhi Embassy stop assign interview dates to IR category files so most of IR Category files are forwarded to Mumbai Embassy.

I may be wrong..

I had an assumption that it was a different category and that is why they had an earlier interview.
Never got into details but i think everything you pointed is possibly correct.

On the home page of my ceac account it says that all documents have been accepted although I received an RFE on the first. I submitted what they needed a week ago. I clicked on the “accepted” link and it shows that my resubmitted documents have not been looked at yet.

My question is will they know to look at those documents even though on my home page it says accepted instead of incomplete or submitted?

They will still have to look at it and then you will get an email that says you are documentarily qualified. That email is when you are CASE COMPLETE

Manila PH

still awaiting interview date...

Hi, I see that your visa is EB3. Surprisingly it's also taking a bit long to wait. Mine is CR1 , case complete Feb 22. I wonder why it's taking long 🤔

Makes me wonder too. Have u tried calling NVC? Called last friday and the rep just told me to wait (default answer). Been waiting for more than a month now....

Havent called yet but probably later we will call. It is unusual for them to take more than a month to schedule from what i see from other people's timelines. Hope we get news from them soon.

I plan to call this evening too. CC on 2/14 and nothing yet. Usually, Costa Rica schedules quickly. Looking at the spreadsheet linked on the first page, there is only 1 person who was scheduled after a 2/8 CC.

It's a shame most people give up on filling out their profiles by this point. There's a really small data set to try to interpret.

Dear Everyone

Mine and my husbands true journey is just beginning!

🥳

My CR1 visa was ISSUED today.

Praise be !!! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Our I-130 was received on March 22nd 2018, so today March 11th 2019 we see the fruits of our hard labour!

I really want to thank EVERYONE who has helped me here on Visa journey.

Honestly guys I would have been so lost and discouraged in this process if not for you.

From the bottom of my heart , THANK YOU!  ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I want to encourage anyone who is still waiting or just starting the process to keep the faith! It happens. The journey does come to an end. A very good end !

I will depart U.K. at the end of the month 🥳🥳🥳🥳

Always still available to help anyone.

I pick my passport from the courier office on Thursday. I will document if there is anything worth sharing.
