oh ok I guess it all depends on the embassy. I saw someone with case complete March 1 already received interview date for Jamaica so I am wondering if NVC forgot about my case

No they  can’t forget.

Once you are case complete, NVC communicate with the embassy who tells them when they have a date for interview. (Are CR1?) NVC has to wait for the embassy to give them the dates available for interview.  Then NVC sends your file to the embassy. You then have your medical and book courier for your passport return. This was my experience.

Just get your documents ready for inspection at interview. It’s coming.

The petitioner doesnt have to be at interview, only applicant.

FYI

For the USA U.K. embassy, if you want your spouse / petitioner to attend the interview with you, ie to be INSIDE the embassy by your side,  you have to make arrangements in advance directly with the embassy.

Only the person on the interview letter will be allowed inside the embassy. If he is on the letter, you’re good to go.

If he is not on the letter and you make no arrangement, beware, he will very likely not be admitted inside the embassy building.

He will have to wait outside.

Just in case you didn’t know 😊 Check your country embassy requirement before you book the flight if you want him INSIDE the building with you to listen to you interview  🙏🏾

Good luck

❤️❤️

Oh and by the way, the interview is only a few minutes. I was called at about 13:05 and by 13:10 I was outside the building.  It really was quick. It will be if you have all docs

Some people want their spouse there. That might be what she means. More of a preference than a necessity.

Congratulations! And thanks for the update. When you say letter, I assume you mean e-mail?

I mentioned the timeline https://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profile.php?id=308683 because it's really helpful for other people to gauge the length of their progress.

We are still waiting for our appointment email, as are Cari & Andy UB who are just a few days behind us with their CC. Hopefully we'll both be notified next week.

Do you plan to attend the interview with your spouse?
