Hi All,

We got Case Complete at NVC today, 3/8. I see there are quite a few ppl waiting to be scheduled at the Mumbai consulate all the way back from Jan end .. :( I hope for a speedy appointment for all you guys (and at other consulates too).

I'm hoping that my wife gets her interview before May end, and is able to join me soon after. Her birthday falls in June, would love to celebrate it together.

Wishing everyone on here good luck with the interviews.

Once more congrats to all my Aug applicants who got approved today..im super happy ...we came along way..

However there is a little set back with my hubby's case..the CO asked few basic questions..which he answered..she asked to see pictures..hubby gave her..she asked for 2017 transcript...while my husband was getting it...the CO said to him..pls drop it off at dhl...the line is getting long ..so my husband said here..i have it...she insisted on him to drop it off a DHL office..so he received a white form..

With check mark..to submit AOS n transcript...what makes me annoyed is..he has all those documents with him..the co was in a rush after she went through our albums ..anyway he will drop it off tomorrow morning..

Ahhahhh! No that’s not good. Wow.  He had an appointment so he can’t worry about the line

What at embassy was that?

My CO was so lovely and patient. No rush at all and I had a HUGE folder with my millions of documents.

I did get a blue from because my medical report was not yet received by them. However no one rushed me.

Im a bit confused tho i see they are asking to bring original documents to interview but my lawyer is saying  NVC  already  have my original documents and will send to the embassy, thought i still had to bring originals by getting more copies . Can someone help me understand this please

I had my interview on 1st March.

They wanted to see ORIGINALS of the civil documents. It also says that in RED on CEAC where I submitted the documents online.

Its was Lagos Embassy...I am happy you had a pleasant CO...but u r missing what I'm saying.."he had an appointment so he cannot worry about the line" (maybe an error in my post) however

The CO was very impatient..she asked for his documents..my husband tried to give it to her...she said to him..the line is long..drop it off dhl..thats what happened.my husband had all is documents at the time of the interview..

No I did not miss your point at all!

i said your hubby “had an appointment so he cannot worry about the line”

In other words, the line, that’s not his problem! They cannot put that on him to suffer for.

Once he is called at the counter, it is his turn, he cannot worry about the line. It’s not fair.  The process has taken most us neary one year or more from 1-130. We need to be given chance to interview fully with no rush! We’ve waited so long !

They need to got more staff to manage the line, not rush the person who has a booked appointment! It’s one thing if he was late, but I’ll bet he wasn’t. Plus he had the document!

Not good at all. I can only imagine how he must have felt.

I mentioned my experience with the CO was great so others know it’s not meant to be like that. That CO who met your husband was not fair. The line is not his problem!

Hi all, just to confirm, the original documents required at the interview are the beneficiarys civil documents?? Do they need to see original W2's and or Tax transcripts of birth certificates of the petitioner??
