This is how we learn from your posts, and how did you find out? You said it or the RFE states it? I'm so confused.

I called the main number and when the jest person could not answer my questions she transferred me to the next level but they were busy so the added me to a call back list...  I waited 2 hours and they called me back.., the lady was grumpy and did not want to look but I explained my situation and she said she would check but if it was a lot she was not going to read it all.., but she came back and told me it was my devoted paper not legible.. but I know it was fine. It’s the same one I used last time I went through this process and was approved

So I just found out what it was... I said it was my divorce de Cree from my marriage was not legible in the photo copy which is not true. We used it in my previous visa and it was approved. So I’m very frustrated  but I’m losing time is of the stupidness

There is a company (with whom I am no way affiliated, but if they are listening, I wouldn't mind a bit of commission, because their advertisements suck) that is legit and super quick with providing documents with the stamps and seals.

If you have a couple of bucks to spend, it may be worth looking into.  I used them to get my birth certificate for my passport application, my son's birth certificate for his passport application, an extra copy of my divorce decree for Claudia, and I have a few friends who have used it as well.

The name of the website is vitalchek.com.  When I requested my birth certificate it was $20 and I chose the regular shipping option.  It arrived in 2 or 3 business days.  There is a faster shipping option as well.

If all the information matches, I would recommend sending the divorce decree from them and getting a new copy of your original decree (or have your attorney dig in his/her files and find the original, and scan it on a high quality scanner) and sending it as well.

I just wanted to say I have used vitalchek.com in the past as well and while there is a small fee, they were able to get what I needed in a matter of a few days.  It's a company that can be used to gather various US documents if needed.  The reason I wanted to post this is because they may ask for a bit of personal information depending on what you need and this may make people uncomfortable, but they are a legit company and I can confirm I had no issues with them.

If possible you may want to physically visit the governing body who issues such documents and review with them your situation and maybe the outcome will be inline with what you believe USCIS will accept.

I know it's hard, but attitude truly is the key to success in this.

This all can be very very frustrating & understandably so, but just as @Greenbaum usually says, these people are the ones with the gold and the game goes as is: "One rule, their rules" period.

Adjudicators change from case to case & perhaps this one just wants a clearer version of that divorce decree. Wait for the RFE, give them what they want and they'll give you what you want, simple as that.

As I always say, always look at as many positives in one's circumstances.

In your case, you previously mentioned that this was your 12th time visiting your fiance since April, 12th time... You've visited your fiance 12 times in the span of 3 months, think how incredibly blessed that is, many of us only get the chance to see our loved one's once a year, many haven't even seen their SO in a year or more...that to me is a big big privilege to have.

So don't falter! Keep that head high for if you let it hang low you'll miss out on everything that's ahead of you.

Best of luck 💪!

Hope everyone had a good 4th and are looking forward to their weekends!

I've little to report on my progress except that I sent all my evidence into my lawyer for the RFE. She'll review everything and then send it off.

I had the same text!!! What does this mean everyone?? I have never gotten ANYTHING from USCIS So I am feeling hopeful about any kind of communication 🙃

I was receiving them consistently every two weeks up until about 5 weeks ago when they stopped. Then just this morning I got another. For me, it’s never meant anything before - I’m not expecting this text to be any different. Still, it’s nice to know they haven’t forgotten about me. #forgetmenot

It means they have your case and nothing has changed. They are still reviewing and once they have completed the process they will let you know. No one can tell you with an certainty when that will happen.

This is another case against hiring a lawyer they are more or less just middle men and in the way, but I understand personal choice personal preference.

Alright, show of hands, who is still on this thread and waiting for their NOA 2?

I am NOA 1 March 15 :)

They received my NOA1 on March 25.  I'm beginning to wonder if there will be problems since the time is a bit longer than the March averages.   I don't have a lot of confidence in the online updates so I am just watching for postal mail.  Maybe this week will be a good week for us. :)
