I know a RFE is no reason to congratulate but at least your case has been touched and is being worked on in surprisingly a little bit more than 3 months in comparison to previous 6-8 months for an approval excluding any RFE's! This has the answers you seek.

From your post history, a friendly advice from one worry wart to another, you need to relax.

I know that it is not the easiest of things to do, specially since it seems like your bored out of your mind anxiously waiting at the edge of your seat to hear something from USCIS but, as one wise person told me over here, stop comparing your cases with others or this will eat you alive, this really can be like a drug and it's mind boggling how much of one's time being sucked dry by being here for hours, you might say to yourself: "Oh, let me just check the website, just a little peak for this and that" but this always spirals out of control and then you've spent here 3+ hours piling & piling more insecurities, fears, worries, etc. about the whole thing......

Well said. Thank you for adding your perspective on these types of issues. You are dead on.

I checked case tracker app this morning for cases received on March 25 and I'm hoping it is just bad data but it shows an unusually high number of RFEs issued on June 26.  There were 17 cases shown, 2 were approved and 15 showed RFE.  I hope this is just bad data from the app and not a trend.

That's just how it is sometimes. When a high enough percentage of cases were on the 'old' site to make scans useful, there were days when there were lots of RFEs and few approvals. I don't imagine that's changed.

Some clustering is going to happen; if you flip a coin a thousand times, there will almost certainly be long runs of just getting heads or just getting tails and it doesn't mean you've got an unfair coin.

My rfe evidence was recieved on june 19. (Ive always gotten updates through the old site). It says that a decision will be mailed or i will be notified of they need more information. Does this mean i should not anticipate a "your case was approved/denied" message online and my next update will be a physical copy of some kind? Thanks

Well, I'm one of those RFEs, and both the old and new websites are stating the same thing. I don't reckon it's a glitch.

I've been logging on every day hoping that you would get a response soon.

Congratulations!

Now get that info to USCIS APAP!

Thank you for that, and for your support. That list is interesting. Lots of stuff about divorces. And I actually am divorced, so maybe my court documents are missing something. But obviously I could speculate about the RFE all day and instead I'll just take your advice and relax and wait for the letter.

@Elif_and_Greg Man I am wishing the best for you and your fiance. Turkey has a special place in my heart. I have been to kapadokya, Izmir, Istanbul, Bursa, Kusadasi and basically all over the country. I lived right in front of the sea for months. I miss all that food, the dolma, the borek, iskander kepap. After there were administration differences between the countries, and Americans could not get a visa to go there and vice versa I am glad you guys were able to overcome all that. I am rooting for you all the way. The wait and RFE is nothing to the distance and obstacles you have already overcome. I know we get so impatient, and honestly it is because we are almost there and we practically can sense it. To be next to the person we love after all this time. It is like they are practically at the doorstep and we just want to break the door open lol.

I never worry about RFE's and I have seen so many. The reason is because we would like to send AOS's without medical exams lol. I liked it because I would get a sense of how everything was going to play out lol. Besides the fact that sometimes these cases  would take forever to be adjudicated and the exam would go bad before they would have the interview making the clients pay for medical exam again. We knew if we got the RFE for medical Exam it practically meant no interview, and if we got the interview would just take the exam there, so it really did not affect timeline. On straightforward cases a lot of times the wait is dependent on the officer you have honestly. I have some AOS that were received by USCIS middle of January and were approved by the beginning of this month with 2 RFE's lol.

If you ever have any questions throughout the whole process through to citizenship let me know. I would gladly help, because like I said I really am rooting for you guys.I think I can be an asset especially through the AOS and Naturalization stage. I've been in so many interviews, so if you worry about that I can help you too. A little about me I am a law clerk at an immigration law office in Los Angeles County. In law school I focused on working with children, so I primarily did Special Immigrant Juvenile Status cases. Now I do everything, at a small law firm you cant choose what cases your supervising attorneys take lol. Please no more asylum cases for me lol.

Thanks, bud! Like you, when I get my NOA2 I'll still be hanging around this thread until everyone else has gone with me to the next step.

Ah, thanks very much for the offer of help and support. Yeah Turkey is a beautiful place, albeit its ruling political party has been disastrous for the country. I've also been to Izmir, Istanbul (pretty much the only place you can land there), and Bursa is near where my fiance lives. She is in Gemlik, and on each trip we'd take a bus ride out to Bursa, see the bazaar and get some pidele kofte (surprisingly I liked this much more than iskender). I've yet to visit Kapadokya but it looks amazing.

I personally am now less worried about the RFE, but my fiance is likely to panic a bit when she sees it. While all of this is hard on me, I can only imagine everyone's fiances, waiting to come here, what that anxiety must be like.

We're like the High School graduates who are now Freshmen in college and come home during breaks to go to the High School football games and practices to hang out.

Indeed, I keep checking to see when everyone gets to move onto the next stage.

Looks like we'll be getting a NOID. 😕

I have no idea what we did so wrong. We did add everything on the list; photos of us together, passport stamps, her divorce decree, letter of intent, passport size photos, and so on... All we can do now is wait for the mail, I guess. So frustrating.

Does anybody had this problem? Our egov account shows there's an update on 06/25 but when we click on it its about our RFE response being received (we got that notification on 06/19 though).

What is the egov account
