So far it has been a very slow week for NOA2 approvals.  Checking to timelines this morning only shows one NOA2 all week.  I hope we see more activity soon.

Hey all!

We sent in our I-129F on 03-22-19

Received NOA1 - 04-02-2019

Received NOA2 - 06-24-2019 ( Approval date was 06-19 though )

That was pretty fast all things considered! Here's hoping the rest of the process goes by quickly.

The more April filers I see getting their NOA2 just gets me worried. I know they say not to compare your case to others but of course I'm gonna do that.

Sorry, I of course am happy for you guys that you got your NOA2. But time goes by very slowly these days for me.

I feel you, I'm in the same boat... Mach 15th 2019

I am happy for anyone that gets theirs but honestly its frustrating there is no numeric symmetry.

It feels like waiting at the DMV and you pull a number but they just randomly call numbers before and after yours lol.

I head to see my fiance again Friday. I had really hoped to get get it prior :(

Let's hope these USCIS employees are nothing like DMV employees. LOL

That's cool you can visit your fiance. I'm sure that takes the edge off the waiting and anxiety.

I go back and see her every 4 to 6 weeks... but its getting harder on her and her daughter. She does not like to be apart and she knows it takes time but she does not understand why it takes so long. Nor do i quite frankly. I understand they do background checks and look at proof of relationship but I am a network engineer and I know technology... 7 months or more? Seems crazy to me with today's technology. With everything my lawyer and I have given them for proof of relationship mine should be simple.

But here I wait and hope for news soon...

I agree 100000%

I am NOA1 March 15th

waiting has been really challenging lately. I know we should be grateful about the processing speeds but when I see others getting approved I keep hoping my time will come. Keep the faith everyone and we will get there as well!

My lawyer in her typical fashion merely stated to me, "I think you have an approvable case." Cause, they can't guarantee anything. That's good at least you can see your fiance that often. I haven't seen mine since February. I flew to Turkey last so we could have our engagement ceremony, and now she is trying to plan her henna night which would be a lot easier if we had our NOA2.

I don't suspect there's anything awry with my case. I just think they have yet to get around to it. Cause I think if they had, by now I would've got an approval, RFE or a denial or something by now. I just think it's semi-lost in the queue. Or maybe background checks can take longer depending on the country of origin, not because of the U.S. side of things, but Turkish bureaucracy, for example, is notoriously bad.

I feel your pain.  I'm almost embarrassed to admit how many times I have flown this year.  The frequency doesn't make it any easier to say goodbye when it's time to get on the plane and go back home.

My prayers are with everyone going through this situation.
