Congrats to you! I think I should give the newer website another try. I had registered there some time ago, but was a little confused on how to proceed from that point. Maybe they'll show something the old site doesn't.

I'm crossing all my fingers for you! I know for sure you will receive something super soon!

To be honest, this feels surreal... it almost feels like I should still be waiting for it even though it has been with us since yesterday haha

Thanks, very much! My fiance was disappointed today when I told her our NOA1 may actually be March 25th and not March 20th. But for me I was actually thinking it's good. It means in fact we're not yet 3 months out and we may yet get it within the average processing times.

Hooray! Do you know if your text that you presumably got from your 3rd party app, was linked to the old or new website?

but still waiting :(

This is torture. I must have the lazy worker who has my case.

Yes that lazy worker that is adjudicating your case so I'm safe. Amazing! I over heard their boss say, we are only responsible to give a yes or no answer and not doing so when they are tired of waiting. Carry on.

It wasn't too long ago and applicants like yourself were waiting 9 to 12 months for their approvals. Certainty you can wait little longer. :)

Nope. Your only worry should be getting over to the June NOA2 - NVC thread and reading the first post.   😁

It has been taking cases about 3 weeks to arrive at the NVC. Once they assign your case number, you can start on the electronic form D-160 (the actual visa application).

My NOA1 is near the end of March and hoping for something within a couple weeks.  I just try to keep the attitude of "The glass is half full" since just a few months ago the times were much longer.  I would love to get NOA2 this month, but even if it's next month, it's still not too bad since our original expectations were 7 months.  Keep positive, it's tough sometimes, but you have to consider how fortunate we may be compared to those who filed just a few months prior.

I am trying to stay positive... I go back to see my fiancé this Friday so after seeing so many with the same date as mine or even after mine getting approved I was really hoping to get it approved before I go see her... so we can do the things needed next for the embassy visit together.
