Yessssss! NOA2 approved this morning. Can't express how happy we are.

NOA1: March 7

NOA2: March 19

For those of you still waiting, keep strong and endure the wait. At times, we felt like this moment will never come but it's here! Your turn will come. Good luck everyone. 🙂

We just got approved today! I found out on the app and the old site. New site is not updated yet.

Noa1 March 29

Noa2 June 19

For those still waiting, please don’t dispair. I was worried as we have a 13 year age difference and a divorce, and I was going crazy checking this site and the USCIS site every few hours, thinking it wouldn’t happen, until I eased things up the last few days and stopped checking so much for my sanity’s sake. Finally this morning, I checked and saw the approval, but I never got a notification from either the app or through email.

Great! This is very good news! Celebrate now!

This month has brought new hope to my fiancée and I because we were thinking that this process would taker 8 months. I know that it is still VERY early but hope helps us get through this long uninformed process much easier. I called the USCIS yesterday and they gave me their slogan statement of 5-7 months but seeing all of the March filers getting their NOA2 in the last couple weeks has been so helpful.

I am hoping for my NOA2 this week! My NOA1 is March 15th :0

It's an agonizing wait I know, but hang in there!!....I know exactly how you feel, but don't worry...it's coming soon!!!

Thanks for asking!  I've been laying low, reading a lot and trying to be supportive of the rest of the March crew.

Claudia and I received our NOA2 on May 31st and are waiting for the file to arrive at the NVC.  I will do my taxes this weekend and take the transcript to her when I see her next month.

We are also dealing with a passport issue.  The US government is recognizing expired Venezuelan passports as eligible for travel.  Claudia is a resident of Panama, and apparently the Panamanian embassy has not got the message yet.  <_<

Spoiler

Ours was accepted (NOA1) - March 15th, 2019

at the California center

But we are still waiting for NOA2  :(

I used a lawyer that is very good so I know everything was done correctly... I see others accepted at the same center after mine and already received their NOA2. My last name starts with a Z... I hope that is not playing any role lol

We are just really hoping we will get ours soon.

Ahhh ok thank you for sharing, all you can do is take it one step at a time. The laying low really works and helps too, been there doing that.

Well just because a lawyer does it does not necessarily  mean it was done right. But let's hope your lawyer did. Your last name begining in Z has nothing to do with your NOA2. All cases are not the same therefore they are approved differently.

If my fiance has a 10 year old daughter that I am also applying for a visa for... does that slow us on getting the NOA2?

No it has no bearing on the speed of your petition. Please update your time line.

OK thanks.... just dying to get ours as others are getting theirs that are the same time or even shortly after mine.

I understand  trust me I understand, but please don't compare your case to others, it'll only stress you more.
