You're very close to the correct answer.  See below for official information and what is required from each country.

Use this link to see what is required to get the Police Clearance for any country that you have lived in since the age of 16 more than 6 months. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Visa-Reciprocity-and-Civil-Documents-by-Country.html Once you arrive on the landing page look to the left column and chose the first letter in the country's name that you are searching for. Once you land on the page for that country then scroll about 3/4's of the way down till you see "Police, Court, Prison Records".  Select it. Then locate "Police Certificates" which should be the first entry. Then check the availability of getting a PC from that country. If it states "Available: Only if applicant is physically present in the "the country's name". If that is the case then screen shoot the page and print and bring to your interview in the event that you need to prove to the CO that a PC from that country is not available for you to get unless you are physically in the country. That should prevent any problems at the interview.

This is such a tedious requirement. I work in a law office, and we get all types of cases. Had a client who lived in Spain for about 8 months. The client is actually from Nicaragua and she had so much difficulty being able to obtain it, so she was like just send it without and maybe we can sneak by. Such a hasty client (calling to send the application although we know she needs the document). So I told her I would send it knowing the NVC would send a letter requesting and missing documents. A month letter and yeah we got the letter saying give us the damn police records lol. Point of the story, send what you have to send for a smoother experience lol. You probably will not sneak by the system.

Today has been oddly quiet here on VJ.  I don't see any NOA2 updates today :(

Keep in mind that the Visa Journey community is likely a small fraction of overall couples/families/immigrants going through this process. Also, not everyone maintains or updates their Timeline all that promptly. Just because you don't see movement/approvals, doesn't necessarily mean its not happening.

I'm preparing everything we need for the Interview, such as the I-134 and I can't help but wonder... how accurate do they expect your answer for 'value of my other personal property' to be?

Opps I waited too long to try an edit my previous post. I meant to say 'I'm preparing everything we need for the Interview while we wait for our NOA2'

Nigeria is one of the most difficult and the longest amongst many. You need to be in this thread https://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/679202-k1-visa-procedures-for-nigeria-only/ to understand what you are facing.

Thanks for the additional info

Yeah, it's been a slow week.  There are usually 5+ NOA2 approvals for VJ users everyday but the numbers have been very low this week.

@nosleep

I use the "Case Tracker" app and I search for case numbers that are near mine.  I have only seen 2 I-129s near mine that have been approved since the 29th.

Our NOA2 was approved yesterday!

I haven't received an email, a text, and neither website have updated.

On a whim, I called, I waited 15 minutes for a representative to answer, and they told me that we were approved on 5/30/19!

Thank you all for the support, advice, and patience.  Additional thanks to @Greenbaum@jeka1700@Sarge2155

I'm praying for all of the other March filers to get notification soon and for our NVC process to go smoothly.

Wow, congratulations I’m excited and happy for you guys.

I can't lie.  I was excited to see someone with an NOA1 date at the end of February get an NOA2 today.

We have a few different things going on, and some of them require overlapping documents.  Chasing these down has helped with killing time and nothing thinking too much, but now we are running out of things to do.  LOL.

So far, we have done:

Passport appointment

Vaccinations and Blood type

Police Certificate (good for 6 months)

Birth Certificate

Father's Death Certificate

Mother's Cedula

Original Divorce Certificate

She has a copy of the I-129F that I filed

She has additional supporting evidence (lease agreement with our names, photos together since we filed, my passport stamps, and receipts for English classes)

Is there anything else that we could be gathering or doing right now?

Hi!  I feel you on running out of things to do to pass time.  I noticed you mentioned death certificate for deceased parent.  Is that a requirement?
