@Game_blouses04  Welcome to the thread. I hope you have had a chance to read some of the post here on the thread.

When you ask a question, many of our answers are predicated on the information you supplied in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks

Hmm, tried to edit my post above, but can't see where to.

So was your application at the CSC like most of us? Or anywhere different?

Also, I've heard people say which country your spouse is from doesn't make that much of a difference, but I still have to imagine that people from Canada can get approved faster.

Here is some homework. :jest:

Here is thee P3 for Argentina:

Next, this is the Argentina US Embassy webpage:

https://ar.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/fiancee/am-i-eligible/

This the VJ web portal

http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Argentina&cty=Buenos_Aires

Medical Exam Instructions

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1sG-4Z-fokrr4pNNhY601POLgIZaKx9S5/view?usp=sharing

Appointment Information

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1wEoHrP26JVI7IG9Y5XkjtKIHMWy0cOyH/view?usp=sharing

Every document including the form I-134 can be presented as a photocopy an original is not required.

The US Embassy in Argentina ask that all legal documents to be translated by a professional. The consul at the embassy warned beneficiary's to apostille and translate their birth certificate, because without the apostille it was not going to have any legal value overseas to do the AOS.  So, have your translation completed with a professional service and ensure that you have it apostille for the interview.

This is a thoughtful article about the process that another VJ'r about his experience with the process for the interview.  https://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/690927-december-2018-k-1-noa2-nvc/?do=findComment&comment=9600005

You have about 5 min from the time you post any reply's to correct. And you can only open the post 3 times to make changes whereupon the 4th time will not allow you to. Those on the "State Sponsor of Terrorism" (see below) find that it takes much longer to adjudicate their case. Sometimes 1-2 years. Yes Canada  is a bit faster then other country's. But their wait for a interview slot is what annoys most.

Additional screening and background checks based on country of birth, citizenship, or residency in the “State Sponsors of Terrorism” (T-7) list: Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Libya, North Korea, Sudan, Syria; or from the “List of 26”: Afghanistan, Bahrain, Djibouti, Egypt, Eritrea, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Malaysia, Morocco, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, Turkey, UAE, Yemen. This is a mandatory stop list and allegedly takes 2 to 4 days, thanks in part to the partially rolled out PATRIOT (Pre-Adjudicated Threat Recognition and Intelligence Operations Team) system managed by ICE, but often take 3 to 6 weeks and if there is a hit who knows how long.

That's a pretty extensive list....but it would certainly put some extra waiting into context. It's rather telling how we have NATO allies that are also state sponsors of terrorism. LOL
