Sent I-129F on 26 March via FedEx, delivered on 28 March and received NOA1 via text msg on 01 April and the hard copy in the mail on 06 April 2019 🙏🏾

Congratulations! I'm hoping that the trend of "fast" approvals continues.

I would like to think that this site and the help that the members here provide helps speed along the process.

Either way, enjoy the journey.  :-)

Yes I've been doing just that. Seeing NOA2s coming in for January filers already gives me hope for a quick approval ❤️

We are hanging in there!  I've been spending a lot of time on this site doing research and being encouraged by the positivity and good people.

My fiancée and I have a lot of work to do as far as getting things sorted out with her travel documents and a few other things, so that has been keeping us very occupied.

Here's a stab in the dark:

Is it within the normal scope of a consulate or an embassy to help with retrieving a death certificate for a deceased parent?

I really don't know for sure but I would not think so unless that person was connected with that government (big whig). I would think  they would tell you to contact the local  government  where  the death took place.

You don't give much in the way of detail or the circumstance. So it's hard to answer. Too many situations to analyze to answer your questions. Give me something to go on.

My fiancée is a Venezuela citizen. She lives in Panamá.

Her father her passed away 21 years ago in Venezuela.  He had dual citizenship in Colombia (He was born in that country). His death was never registered in Colombia.

Due to the the power outages and other factors in Venezuela, she is unable to get a relative to go to the town where her father died in order to retrieve the death certificate and get it apostillized.

She needs this document in order to get an issue with her passport resolved.

I would say under those circumstances no they would not help. Have you tried asking a close relative to the father who my have one.  If your P3 does not require documents to be apostilled then don't apostilled the document. Have you considered hiring an attorney to retrieve the DC? Other then those ideas I'm afraid I can't help. Good Luck.
