Just attended my appointment in London, and although I had the wrong affidavit of support for my co-Sponsor, I was APPROVED!

 

Was able to prove I would be able to easily get a job due to my career and field, so they waived that requirement!

Application for Naturalization (APPROVED, Pending Oath Ceremony)

07/16/23 - Filed N-400

07/17/23 - Received by USCIS, Reviewed, and Scheduled for Interview (8/21)

08/21/23 - I-751 interview waived, N-400 interview passed!

08/21/23 - Recommended for approval and placed in line for oath ceremony scheduling.

08/23/23 - Oath ceremony scheduled for Sept 7th, 2023

 

Removal of Conditions (APPROVED)
07/19/22 - Filed I-751 and Received by USCIS

07/21/22 - NOA1 for I-751

08/21/23 - I-751 interview waived at N-400 interview

08/23/23- Approved!
 

Work Permit / Advance Parole Renewal (APPROVED & Received) in 72 Days.

Adjustment of Status (APPROVED & Received) in 374 Days!

Work Permit / Advance Parole (Expedited & APPROVED) in 109 Days.

K1 Visa Process (APPROVED & PoE) in 353 Days.

So you didn't "crash & doom" at your interview. I fathom you used the I-864 and not the I-134, right? You were fortunate to have a good CO that thought outside the box. Most go by the "letter of the law" and they would have issued a 221(g) further delaying you.

Our co-sponsor filed the I-134, but the embassy staff said that co-sponsors needed to complete I-864 instead. Thankfully, yeah, she was extremely nice and took into account my field and the availability of jobs. 😀

That's strange request from the embassy to require the I-864, Normally, the I-134 is used at the visa interview and the I-864 is used at AOS after marriage. Palm slapped to the forehead on this one. Glad you were able to be moved on with an approval.

Is there a trick to checking the CEAC website because I am having a really hard time and I truly just want to book my fiance's flight already.

Well not much information to go on but i have a little idea what your facing. You look for your case under "immigrant " then when the Visa is ready for issuing you use "non-immigrant". Try this.

It doesn't seem like CEAC or the usvisa-info website is updating since my approval. Apparently it may only happen after it's issued?

Citizenship Complete!

Congratulations. I wish you nothing but happiness in your future endeavors. There is plenty to do after you arrive. First week go to Social Security and get a number.

 

Then get married and complete your AOS. Once you get your EAD card then take your marriage certificate and whatever else is required (see the link below) to get your SSN name changed to your married name.

Are you using ceac.state.gov and entering "immigrant" and your case number? If you just got your case number it takes about 24 hours for ceac to update.
