Only just seen this! Congratulations!! 😊 Now just need to get your furry babies across and you're all set.

fur babies are booked.... they are flying british airways and arrive 5 hours before we do, as we are on some cheap ### airline held together with sticky back plastic and duct tape.

Please, i will like to ask while filling DS160..

What did you all answer to this question:

Do you have any immediate family in the us?

Because i noticed that fiance(e) is on the list of immediate family.

If fiancé is on the list as Immediate Relatives , and your fiancé is in the US, then the only option you have is to answer Yes

I didnt know the yes had fiance as an option so i filled NO and submitted.

I just found out today.

So I'm thinking should i create another ds160 even when i have booked an appointment with the 1st ds160.

Not sure if you can create another DS160 but you can certainly make the correction at the interview. I am sure you aren’t the first or last person to make a mistake in the form. Speak honestly and be upfront with the interviewer

You have three options. 1) if the submittal of the DS-160 was within the past 30 days you can open it up and make a change. 2) You can recreate a new DS-160 and bring the new confirmation page to the interview.  3) Approach the CO at the interview and inform them of your mistake and they will correct it then. No Problem.

It was 8days ago. I tried to retrieve it but i cant. I think the only option is to create another ds160 and approach the CO during the interview with it.

I made exactly the same mistake as you. I've just redone my DS-160 and I plan to just tell the CO I made a mistake and fixed it and give them both DS-160's.

I don't think we should worry, CO will understand and mistakes happen!

My appointment letter still has the old barcode, so I will just have to explain the situation to everyone

Don't!! Don't!! Don't  bring both to the interview and don't discuss that you had to redo your DS-160 to the CO at the interview!!  Giving more information then you have to will only end in a disaster.  I've seen it happen before, many, many, many times. Don't be stupid.

Everything :help:

UK Appointment system asked me for my DS-160 confirmation to book the number, so I feel like they will know I'm not providing the "correct" DS-160

Only bring the new and improved DS-160 to the interview.  Of course you can ignore my opinion and see where this leads you.
