My case got ready from 22nd Apr but I am still waiting for the P3 from the embassy. I emailed them on 29th to ask about the P3 and received a reply that they will give me more information soon. I've checked the first available date for interview will be on 27 June (which is too long 😢). I am wondering can I go ahead to book that date for the interview or should I keep waiting for the embassy until I got the P3? I'm just afraid the more I'm waiting for them the further the interview will be.

Everything that I have read states to wait for the embassy to contact you. I will give you links to follow but do not schedule your interview. Scheduling your own interview is something I do not personally recommend that you do until you hear from the embassy. I have heard that some embassy's will cancel your self interview date causing you to have to start all over with the scheduling. Your mileage may vary.

One of the links I am giving you is for the sub-forum for your country where I recommend you ask questions like this from others that are processing though your embassy. Asking here where others are from other countries only sets you up to receive the wrong information.

Don't do anything in advance until the case is ready at embassy and the embassy sends you an email to the petitioner to follow these steps for Scheduling interview, Medical exam, police clearance etc.

@Greenbaum never say thanks enough to you for your generous information.

My fiance recieved the P3 today. The letter exactly the same what you've posted above. Now I think I can just schedule the interview and medical appointments.

Thanks a lot for your help!

By the way @Greenbaum, I felt a bit strange when they just sent an email without any contents, not even say dear or attach any signature. The only thing we have is 4 attachments. Is it considered as a confirmation from them that we can now schedule the interview or, there will be another email coming up saying something?

Please find the email as below.

* I also posted the same question in the group you just recommend to see if others also receive an email like this.

Hello,

I have been trying to add my picture for the DS-160 yesterday and today. But it still write the same error "missing parameter".

Any ideas how to skip this step and bring them a picture directly?

Thank you,

Your picture probably doesn't fit the requirements. I had issue with that too.  What did I take a picture of the passport from far,  then I crop it to make smaller.

Thank you,

Applicants using Form DS-160 or Form DS-1648

If you are applying for a nonimmigrant visa by filling out the DS-160 or DS-1648 online form, the form will instruct you to upload your digital image as part of completing the online visa application form. Review the Digital Image Requirements, which also provide additional requirements if you are scanning an existing photo.

Some embassies and consulates require visa applicants to bring one (1) photo, which meets requirements, to the interview. Review the embassy or consulate instructions where you will apply to learn more.

There are apps for your phone that will help resize your passport photos to the size that you need for any occasion. After resizing and it is required to send them on to someone to print these apps make it easy.

Thank you,

I wasted so much of my life trying to upload the picture.  It would not let me. I tried a week later and it accepted the exact photo that it told me was incorrectly sized

Hello,

Thank you very much for your advices.

I did try already to use several resize photo websites. My picture are 600×600 and weight 111ko and another one 41ko (same pixel size).

It still not working..I am going to ask my fiance if he can save it from his computer or try again later..

It's not so much the pixel size as it is the size of the picture. Use the size measurements outline from the link I posted and you shouldn't have a problem.
