So, my case say "ready" and I was able to make an interview date.  I was wondering if I should contact the embassy to further try to correct the birthday error I had made for my beneficiary.  I sent a email w/ evidence to the NVC and by mail to USCIS but have yet to receive any responses and now our petition is in Colombia.  Thank you!

At this point in the process not much you can do besides sending the embassy a email about the error and be sure to take all the proof of the correct birthday to the interview. Consult your country specific forum perhaps someone there can further assist you with this issue. Did you look on your embassies web page for a remedy? Also take the proof that you tried to correct this issue with you to to the interview.

NVC doesn't do record changes. They only assign case numbers.

 

An error that you are speaking of, is a small error and can be rectified when you are at your interview. Don't go calling anyone to fix. Don't send off any letters. Don't go to other groups. Handle this at the interview. It's a rather small item and the CO can make the change and they do it all the time. Be sure to have your evidence with you to present to the CO to substantiate your claim. Simple.

Case is at the embassy and status is ready. 😊 Now to wait up for the P3 and them to give me an interview date 👍👍
