I tried to file for a case inquiry just now thinking we’re already outside processing time. Looks like my processing time has recently changed from 6-7.5 months to 6-8

months. Now on our 235th day.

Tracking your case file that's in transit to your Embassy. Go to www.dhl.com click Express then Tracking, then Track by Shipper's Reference, and on this page you add your search information. You change the day and month to what you think your package might have left NVC or call NVC to get the date your package had left NVC in route to your Embassy then go to the DHL website and enter the following information:

NOTE: It will take 24 hours before the shipment will show any results using this hack. DHL and NVC will need time to update their systems.

EXAMPLE:

* Shipper´s Reference : EXP 24 MAR 2011A (This is the date you think it left NVC, just substitute the date and leave everything else as is)

* Date range for shipment - From: 23 - 03 - 2011

* Date range for shipment - To: 26 - 03 - 2011

Account Number - Leave this blank

Shipment Destination: Philippines (Works for any country Just replace your country where the Embassy is located using the drop down box).

I hope these tips help you along your Journey. So, let’s share our experiences, our tips and ask questions.

Finally, we got approved!

My fiancé(Petitioner) got the NOA2 mail yesterday. Feel so good.

NOA1 : Nov 1, 2019

NOA2 : Mar 13, 2019

How long does it take to get case number from NVC

I've heard it usually takes 4-8 weeks...

Yeah it’s taking on average 4/5 weeks at the moment.

I got my NOA2 23rd Feb and I’m still waiting for my case to arrive.

It’s best to use this time to get all your documents ready for your medical and interview.

I Called NVC this morning and they told me that they had received our case yesterday but still haven't generated a case number and that it could take up to 8 weeks.  Our NOA2 was Feb. 22 , so hopefully we will get the case number soon.  Nice to know that progress is being made.

Yeah the NVC waiting is much less stressful than the NOA2 haha. I’ve been more patient lately 😬

Hi,

Sorry if this isn't the right place to post. I have been having trouble trying to find the correct section for the UK.

My case just changed today from the NVC to "in transit" to the London embassy. I was wondering how long it would take for the case to get to the embassy? I read somewhere that it can take 5-7 business days? I got an email saying it's been sent and that I should prepare for the interview now... My medical is scheduled for tomorrow. Am I waiting for confirmation of an interview by mail? or do I need to make the appointment myself and at what point do I do so? Is it when the CEAC turns to "ready"?

I'm just curious about how long now until I am able to get the Visa approved and what else needs to be done. (timeline)

Thank you in advance, sorry about all of the questions lol :)

Yes all ours are close just at two weeks tomorrow for me and Jaimee Camille. I do realize that it does not mean anything, but just wishful thinking that when one of our cases is there the other two should be too, but if dealing with NVC is anything like dealing with USCIS anything can happen. Please be sure to keep us posted and I will do the same should I find out anything. Just sent off my  I-134 and additional proofs and forms on 3/15/19 to Philippines via FedEx with my discount it was still pricy. Too much to email so I had to send it through FedEx to her.

I'm just coming down off that 299 day wait for my NOA2, so I am still a bit wobbly in the knees!!!!
