Perhaps give some hope to those waiting. I never received a case number when I called (most recently last Thursday) and was told that it hadn’t been processed yet. But did receive an email response to my enquire form saying they had updated the email addresses. Today I got an email to say that our case was being sent to Dublin! CEAC website still says “at NVC”. So keep an eye on your emails and don’t just depend on the website.

Best of luck!

I just got this letter on my email :does this mean it's on its way?

The National Visa Center (NVC) received your fiancé (e)s/spouses approved I-129F petition from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). NVC will now forward the petition to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in Madrid, Spain. Please note that the transfer process can take several weeks. The U.S. Embassy or Consulate will contact your fiancé (e)/spouse when they are ready to process his or her petition.

Next steps:
Go to our website http://nvc.state.gov/k1 to learn how to apply for a K visa and prepare for the visa interview.
