Some one mentioned to me, and I forgot to make a note of it, but there is away to determine if that is your package. It has something to do with removing the first 4 or 5 digits and the balance numbers relate to the case number. I am not really sure but maybe someone else has compared their case number to the results for their Embassy and let us know the "pattern" to look for.

Didn’t match for me, only two digits matched on the middle. So I guessed was not mine😔 was thought it would be shipped together😒

P3 letter

Could you does a favor. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks

Please, do you have for Nigeria?

Thanks. I read the upper portion of his website where it explains when to use the eligibility letter. Your information above is correct. I'm going to talk to Hank as it is very confusing or maybe it's just me. Thank you.

Yes I was confused as well... My friend's embassy eligibility letter came 4.5 months after NVC forwarded the case to the US Embassy and status in CEAC was ready. He was done with all the requirements, medical & interview when the embassy eligibility letter arrived.

We wanted to wait for the embassy letter, but if it's gonna take that long, we will start on the schedules for medical and interview by next week.

Still waiting on our P3 letter.  Is there anyone else that has waited/or is still waiting over 8 business days to get theirs?  I hate that we have to wait for that letter to be able to schedule the medical/interview :( .  The closer we get to the end of the process the more anxious we have been getting.

We got our case # and NVC already forwarded to US Embassy in the Philippines as of April 2, still waiting for our P3 letter as well.

@Greenbaum Hi, before I ask my question, I want to tell you how much you are appreciated. Thank you so much for all you’ve done for the members on VJ. I am sure everyone here would agree that you’ve helped them out one way or the other.

So my question is if you have P3 for Hong Kong? Sorry if you’ve answered this question before. I had tried looking up on VJ but couldn’t find it. Thank you so much in advance for your help! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

This was only a comment and should not be taken as the truth. Just because it didn't match doesn't mean your case didn't ship. It just means we haven't figured out any pattern with DHL shipping.

Scheduling the interview can take 1 to 3 months. Once you pay the $265 visa fee at GTB Bank, you can go online to schedule an appointment at www.ustraveldocs.com You can get the forms online at http://nigeria.usembassy.gov/immigrant_visa_forms.html No need to go to the consulate to pick up forms. Download forms if unexpired or get current versions of same forms. Email LagosIV@state.gov for your interview date.

Take the NVC letter with the MNL# and start your process. Don't schedule your interview till you see your record set to "ready" condition. You can complete the DS-160, medical, pay the interview fee and get your NBI and CENOMAR along with CFO out of the way.

P3 are hard to fine hence the reason that I keep copies on most Embassies. I would recommend that you use the information as a starter and not the end all. Be sure to check all your documents against the P3 that you receive from your Embassy to ensure you have adhered to the Embassy requirements. If you have a new copy of the P3 I would appreciate you sharing it with me.

Spend some time at the HK US Embassy website and read up on what the requirements are and what is next. Here is the link: https://hk.usconsulate.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/fiancee/the-interview/ and http://www.ustraveldocs.com/hk/K1 Visa Instructions 15Mar2018.pdf

Spend sometime in the sub forums for China/HK found here. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/94-china/  There are many experts that can help you along. Most here in this forum are trying to get their arms around their own process and have very little knowledge for HK.

You say you are looking for your case to go to HK but your profile shows Indonesia so I am a bit confused. Your profile should reflect the country that you will interview in. Our response to your questions will be based on your profile questions and not where you live.

Further to DHL. So far we have not been able to confirm a certain case is in the batch that is in the DHL shipment. I only added the HACK so that you can have "fun" and that in no way is it "factual" to anyone person. It's just a fun thing to follow. That's all it is meant to be. So have fun with it but don't think it reflects your personal experience with the path that your case is taking. But, having said that I believe that you will see when it arrives in HK and then a few days later you will see your ceac status change to ready.

Do you need the P3 for Indonesia or HK?

P3 doesn't come from USEM because it is online now. See my instructions, where I have stated this fact with a link to the P3. Also, you can find it from Hank's website.
