Yes, I think this is the letter you need for medical.

No that is not the letter. In the past it was but they changed it to the "Embassy Eligibility Letter" from USEM. It's spelled out at Hank's website. I believe I have given the link before but if it is misplaced here it is again. http://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/k-1-visa-application.html

Here's my answer to that. Base on hank's article. If that letter has the barcode, MNL# which I presume that's the email she got and it was attached as DOC file then it is the letter you need on your medical..

Hank's website:

LETTER FROM NVC WITH MANILA NUMBER
When you get the letter from NVC stating the MNL #, scan and email a copy to your fiancee to bring to St. Luke's.  Or if you received an email from NVC with the MNL # forward this to your fiancee for SLEC.

Thanks. I read the upper portion of his website where it explains when to use the eligibility letter. Your information above is correct. I'm going to talk to Hank as it is very confusing or maybe it's just me. Thank you.

I booked my medical 2 weeks ago so that might be a little outdated, but there was plenty of availability for end of April and May. Nonetheless, there are lots of appointments at Knightsbridge 😊

As for London embassy (for the interview), there is also lots of availability. These are the dates that were available when I booked my interview today:

Can I attend a Medical Exam before the Consulate receives the case? When the Consulate gets sent the results might they wonder why they are being sent them since they don't have a case relating to them yet? :)

You potentially could attend the medical before your interview is scheduled, I'm not sure if it is recommended. But, its also unlikely that you'll be able to book it so soon that the medical results would arrive before your petition.

For example, when I booked my medical the first date available was 23rd of April, if I chose this and attended the medical, it would take another 5-10 working days to get transferred to the embassy. In this time frame you're likely to be informed that your case has left NVC and that your paperwork will reach the embassy around the same time or prior to the medical.

I planned my medical and interview with some leeway between each step, because you never know if you might be delayed at any stage. I booked my interview for a date that was almost a month away from when I received my case number. And my interview another 2 weeks after the medical.

Remember that your medical is only valid for 6 months, so be careful when choosing your dates in case something does hold up your petition. 😊

Still waiting on our P3 letter.  Is there anyone else that has waited/or is still waiting over 8 business days to get theirs?  I hate that we have to wait for that letter to be able to schedule the medical/interview :( .  The closer we get to the end of the process the more anxious we have been getting.

I don't have the P3 instructions for your Embassy. If and when you get a copy if you could share with me then I would be able to share with others who come behind you.  Here are a few things that I did find the can be used as a primer.

From the Serbia Embassy's website: Interviews are by appointment only! You will receive an appointment when you have submitted your notice of readiness confirming that you have all the required paperwork in your possession. Embassy Belgrade will notify you of your interview date and time and paying the MRV application fee by an appointment letter.

Required Documentation

You, the foreign-citizen fiancé(e), (and eligible children applying for K-2 visas) will be required to bring the following forms and documents to the visa interview:
    • Completed Form DS-160, Online Nonimmigrant Visa Application. You (and any eligible children applying for K-2 visas) must: (1) complete Form DS-160 and (2) print the DS-160 confirmation page to bring to your interview.
    • A passport valid for travel to the United States and with a validity date at least six months beyond your intended period of stay in the U.S. (unless country-specific agreements provide exemptions).
    • Divorce or death certificate(s) of any previous spouse(s) for both you and the U.S. citizen sponsor
    • Police certificates from your present country of residence and all countries where you have lived for six months or more since age 16 (Police certificates are also required for accompanying children age 16 or older)
    • Medical examination (vaccinations are optional, see below)
    • Evidence of financial support (Form I-134, Affidavit of Support, may be requested)
    • Two (2) 2x2 photographs. See the required photo format explained in Photograph Requirements
    • Evidence of relationship with your U.S. citizen fiancé(e)
    • Payment of fees, as explained below
Note: The consular officer may ask for additional information, such as photographs and other proof that the relationship with your U.S. citizen fiancé(e) is genuine. Documents in foreign languages, other than the language of the country in which the application takes place, should be translated. Applicants should take to the visa interview clear, legible photocopies of civil documents and translations, such as birth and divorce certificates. Original documents and translations will be returned.
